I do a fantastic toad in the hole.........
What would I get for dessert??
Pasta w meat sauce, all loaded w ground beef just the way I like it! And a little broccoli .....
The other day I made stripper fillets (from a nice 34" 25lb fish I caught and a 23" 14 lbs fish) on the grill with some fresh lemon juice, home made spice mix I use for fish, along with fresh baked sweet potato fries and grilled sweet corn with a very very slight hint of cinnamon sugar.
Ranch chicken burgers
beef & cheese enchiladas with red chilli sauce & rice! :toast
Is it bad that I made homemade sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and skipped the dinner?! It was yummy
No, that's not wrong. You're just not wasting time on dinner.
We had this again
Spageti,chicken fingers and sweet taters
(The skin was hard to get off)
(This is the glaze)
I don't think you should post pics like this if you didn't make enough to share with everyone!!!
I've tried sharing virtually before.
I usually wind up getting a virus.
What is that wonderful machine called? Ps I didn't know u had to take the skin off, I have just always seasoned and in the last 15mins marinated and baked???? Your way looks so much better!!
The Big Easy. It's an infrared "turkey fryer-" but I've never used it for wings, ribs, steak, fish, side items, and almost any other fowl excluding turkey.
You don't have to de-skin it but I usually like to get as much fat off of the meat as possible (especially in a stand up unit like this one because the grease drips and along with is goes some of the seasoning) which includes the small bit of skin that was on it. I got mine from a friend-of-a-friend's slaughter house. I could be wrong in calling what I cut off skin, but it was tougher than fat and rested on top of it.
It may look better- but I did what you do in a 6 step (if you include cooking it as a process) process. Season (next time I'll do a blackened seasoning), cook, dry rub, cook, glaze, cook, serve. The extra cook time allowed for plenty of beers and laughs with buds and fam. I had to cart it around in my buddy's truck because the civic I have is still filled with books and boxes from my most recent move so I had to turn in my man card until the food was done. The taste is what matters. If you enjoy yours then awesome. My gf's grandfather has a completely different method of cooking ribs and his are delicious as well. This was only a portion of the food we had. There was SO MUCH MORE.
Probably too much information. I do tend to prattle.
Interesting I love trying new things so I will be giving your way a try for sure. Thanks
It's so delicious.
I just finished a burrito bowl from Chipotle.
