and there was a comcast guy and the parental unit standing in my room. Evidently some cabling was in my ceiling that he needed to adjust. Yeah, I'm just happy I was covered up. I didn't want my parental unit and some random dude to see my bare morning wood. I was scared, but once I realized I was covered, I pretended to sleep for an extended period of time.

You need to learn to get sleep on regular days. Despite how much I love my sleep, I also like having plenty of time to do whatever I want during the weekend.

I normally work on weekends, so getting up at 6 is a usual thing. Since today I have nothing planned except to sleep in, I expected to... well... sleep in. :(

Yeah. I live at home. I'm 20 and commute to college during the week (35 miles away though, it's a bugger). My parents tend to just kinda walk in when they need to. They were comfortable with the comcast guy being there cause he only needed to check a connection really quick and I just HAPPENED to wake up then. Plus I'm a deep sleeper so they figured it'd be aight.

Agreed. This time it didn't bug me. It was just scary as shit at first, cause all I saw at first was the dude. So I'm like, reaching for my cell to dial 911 and reachin for my switchblade to cut the mofo open and I realize, oh wait, my step dad is over there too. Hmm, must be okay then?

But at the same time, this happens ALL the time. I'd kinda like a little privacy sometimes, ya know? Someday I'll just throw a lock on the door.
