Since there are so many different shades of brunette, and I'm ready for a little change, I was wondering what shade of brunette the majority of men find most attractive. If anything, the results should be very interesting :)

You can choose more than one shade, btw.

Oh no, that's not mousey! Very pretty, I think :) Not sure what to classify it as, though...I can see a lot of red and gold in her hair. Maybe a "copper brown"...?

Ha, funny you should ask, Bluesy. My hair is naturally a medium dark shade of brown. Over the years, I have had it highlighted with either a cap or with foil. It's been it's natural color for years now, and I wanted a change, so, just 2 days ago, I had it dyed a very dark espresso brown. With my pale blue eyes, I think it looks pretty good and it shines like it never has before. I love it.

I think dark hair and light eyes is a killer combo :cool I have dark eyes, so I haven't had the pleasure of trying out that particular look, but I've dyed my hair almost every color imaginable over the years, one of those shades being a dark, almost black, brown. It's a more dramatic look...I liked it, but got tired of it after a while (it was a major headache trying to lighten it). Nowadays I stick to semi-perm color :eyes

I voted golden brown, Don't know why though
as I really have no preference in color.
I do prefer an off the shoulder length with any style.
And I know just as much about nuclear science
    as I do hair styling.

I like dark hair, so I voted dark espresso brown. To me, the darker the better :brow

    It depends...

...on your complexion. If you are lighter, I'd vote one way. Darker, another.

    Well...

...I'm thinking the first choice would really be set of by your complexion then. I'm not a fan of reds and stark contrast can be nice but I love 'shimmering'. Especially with brown eyes.

Wow! Have you ever considered a career in cosmetology? :lol But seriously! That color would be perfect with my eyes and hair :) ETA: Eyes and skin is what I meant to say :p

If ever you get bored with your job and want to start a new career...

    Really?

...I know what I like but let's not get carried away with the new career! :lol That would be like a lumberjack doing brain surgery. I do have a pretty good eye though.

    Anyway, well good!

How interesting that dark brown in currently in the lead...

OMG, you're such a cutie! That has to be the perfect shade of auburn...and it would, unfortunately, clash horribly with my complexion :ugh I adore red heads, have always wanted to be one, but every time I try adding a red tint to my hair, ick. It only works in theory on me. On you, fabulous :tup I can't get over your boyishly sexy smile! I'll bet the ladies melt like buttah whenever you pull out that secret weapon :drool
