...for the patio. Some chaise-type patio loungers, to be exact, preferably without side-arms. I'm seeing that good ones are quite expensive, darn it! (Like in $250-400 each...ouch!) I need a pair that don't cost an arm and a leg, are comfy enough to snooze in (with cushions added), and are rugged enough to engage in some hot-n-nasty activities without breaking them. :brow The hot tub gets a little too hot sometimes. :D

I found a model at Home Depot that is made from bent steel bar, and looks pretty rugged, is reasonably priced ($139 each), but it has arms, and they kinda get in the way. :D If anyone has any suggestions, please post 'em up.

Wanna hear a funny story? I bought my wife a massage chair a few Christmas's ago...it was only about two weeks before we decided to break it in, if you know what I mean. ;) Well, we not only broke it in, we actually broke the frame. :eek Since it was new, the mfg covered the...um...mechanical failure, and shipped a frame piece to replace the one we broke. That took about 2 months to receive. :mad While I was waiting for the part to show up, a very religious acquaintance of ours was over for a visit. He asked about the chair, I told him it was a massage chair, so he wanted to try it. I told him, "Unfortunately, it's broken right now...sorry!" He said, "How'd you break it?" I said "Well...we were both sitting in it." He laughed and said, "Yeah...y'all were sittin' in it. Right." :p

Take a Saturday morning and go to yard sales.
Then you can ask the people how they hold up. :dgrin

    BD,
If you do the yard sale, take a portable black light to check for, um, stains.;) Then you will know it is sturdy enough for action.:dgrin After a good sanitizing.

Bucky, he will do just that too, now that you have put it out there! Hilarious...I can see it now:

BD: "Hi we are looking for some sturdy patio chairs that have seen some action. Have you ever banged it out in these? Do you mind if I check for stains with my black light?"

    :rofl

Ah, FC knows me too well. :brow [BD checks HarborFreightTools.com for portable black lights.]

I was browsing around in Home D'poot yesterday, and a young lady who worked there asked me if I needed help. I told her I was looking for inexpensive but very sturdy chaise loungers. She said "How sturdy?", and I said "Sturdy enough to have sex in them without breaking them." She burst out laughing. I said "Think you can help me?". Still laughing, she said "Maybe". :brow I didn't ask if we could try 'em out in the store or anything though...:lol...maybe FC and I'll go back and do a test run. :dgrin

Yes! Exactly the kind I'm looking for...those would be perfect....comfy cushions and we're all set...for action or just snoozing. :D IIRC, FC and I bent the shit out of one of those fold-up beach loungers on my deck when we were first seeing each other 13-14 years ago. :dgrin

I knew this would be a fun thread. :lol

Do they make cast iron lounge chairs. Knowing you two it may have to accomodate 4.:brow

:D We only "swing" in fantasy, not reality. ;) Hmm...perhaps I could build some out of pipe though...that ought to be rugged enough, eh? :p Double-wide loungers...we could call them the "swingers' chaise".

Hello! So, does it still count if FC and I are just playing cops and robbers and I get arrested? :dgrin
