Happy Turkey Day! Hope everyone as a fun holiday.
Turkey Day ... celebrated by members of P.E.T.A. everywhere. P.E.T.A. being People for the Eating of Tasty Animals.
Pass the gravy!
MMMMMMMMM!!! That looks so LUCIOUS and DELICIOUS!!! The turkey looks good too!! :brow
One time I was going to the Circus in Richmond. As I passed by some PETA protesters, I said, "l LOVE animals!" They smiled. Then, as I went by I said, "They taste DELICIOUS!!" You should have seen the double takes! :lol
I got that photo from http://allrecipes.com/ where I've found a lot of the recipes I'm planning on using for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Yep, we're celebrating Thanksgiving all the way over here in Sweden. I really wanted Krof to experience an authentic American holiday dinner, and I've also invited another American expatriate who is in the same Swedish class I'm in, and his wife.
On my thanksgiving menu so far:
candied sweet potatoes
fresh cranberry sauce
Swedish apple pie
I realize I don't have a vegetable but I'll come up with something before tomorrow.
Edit: my guests are bringing salad and wine All is right with the world.
I'm thankful for my children and their spouses and their kids. I'll see all 4 grandkids over the weekend, although not all at the same time. My son (he has my name (the 3rd), and his son is the 4th - [IV]) and family will be here today and we will all be with my oldest daughter's family with her two sons tomorrow. Then we go to the mountains Sat. to be with my other daughter and husband and newist grandson. There's nothing I like better than being with my kids and grandsons!
You named your kid Thorn?
Dude seriously ... what the hell? :lol
I'm just messin' with ya man. I'm actually a little jealous, not sure I'll ever get to have a family.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! My boyfriend and I are making our very first Thanksgiving dinner so let's hope we don't set the apartment on fire!! :lol
Good luck LilKitten!!

You are just adorable in an odd sort of way!
*blushes* Why thank you Miss Bella.
Your welcome A1!
***blows you a kiss***
A1 my son! :lol There's no hurry. You have tons of time. I didn't start a family until I was 27 years old.
Good luck with the turkey Kitten! If you guys start any fires I hope they are in the bedroom rather than the kitchen. :dgrin
Hope everyone's having a good Thanksgiving!
Am I the only freak whose family's celebrating the holiday on Saturday? *sigh* We're nothing if not utterly dedicated to convenience.
Sounds like an old Irish blessing :lol And may you have just enough leftovers to prevent your having to think up meals, but not enough to make you sick of turkey. And may no one come down with salmonella poisoning from an undercooked turkey :eek
