Next weekend I will be going back into heart surgery. I have already been threw open heart, and had bypass done and a valve replaced. The valve isnt working thanks to my body trying to reject it. So I will be going in to have the valve replaced. It wont be open heart again thank goodness, but still alot. I have great support though.
Please keep me in your thoughts.
    Thanks!!
    Kat

Best of everything to ya! Hate that anyone has to go thru stuff like that. My wife had triple bypass and later a pacemaker installed. Not fun. Hugs to ya!

Good luck. I have had a Saint Jude artificial aortic valve since Valentines Day 1994. It's infinitely more dependable than a tissue valve, but the drawback is that I have to be anti coagulated with coumadin. I guess some people aren't suited for one or the other, and it depends on which valve too. I hope they get it right for you, but I know that's a tough surgery no matter what. I feel for you. Keep hugging your cough bear!
