Feeling so lonely and out of sorts tonight without SO (who is away for three weeks) that resorted to stale Xmas pudding & sickly sweet ice cream.
Usually avoid both as not to my taste but in desperate times........:( hey WTF.
Tried a bit of wine too but as on-call for hospital cannot overindulge.
    Stay happy everyone :)

    Aww. *pats*

In a Russian home, almost every food is comfort food, or at least heavy enough to make you sleepy.

I always turn to food that just leaves me feeling uncomfortably stuffed when I finish. When I'm really down, either some really great barbeque or a really hefty pasta dish does wonders for me.
