I mean, what really defines straightness? If you have sex with a girl that has had sex with another guy before, you're basically having sex with that guy by having sex with her. Does that make you gay? :eek
If you're gay you know it. You have a certian attraction to the same sex rather than the opposite. It doesn't matter if you have sex with a man just to experiment with it and then revert to liking women, that means your straight and experimented with the other spectrum of sexual pleasure.
Good description chanserv, definitely. I haven't seen you around in quite some time... hope you come back.. I enjoyed talking with you.
to be gay, lesbian, bi, doesn't mean you have to have sex with the same sex. it's the sexual affection to the same sex.
Actually, I think it would have to be more than just a sexual thing to consider yourself gay no? I would think that you would have to have the ability to fall in love with someone of the same sex to be truely gay. Otherwise, isn't it just acting out a sexual fantasy?
Yeah exactly and that is where I am gay... I was in love (and still am) with somebody of the same sex... and we had sex enough. But firstly, it was the emotional connection between us.
A person could live a hetrosexual lifestyle and be a homosexual. That person could have never had sex with a same sex-person and only had sex with oppisit sex person and still be a honosexual. It is your sexual preference that determines your 'lable' not whom you have sex with...
Shaman, that isn't true. If you don't have an attraction towards the opposite sex and you have a sexual life with that person, you are living a lie.
Of course they are living a lie, but that does not negate the statement.. It has only recently that toleration of homosexuality within our society has reached the stage that it become an 'accepted' lifestyle. I have had friends whom spent most of teenage/adult years presenting themselves to society as hetrosexual, an being quite misable I might add, to keep their job and status, family and friends.
I agree, I have some gay friends and they live their lives proudly of themselves, facing society just the way they are.
Back to the orignial statement, what you were implying was that the sexual act 'made' a person gay. What I am saying is that sex with a same sex partner does not make a person gay. All sex is, is a physical expression of one's attraction to another human being. If you were placed on island where there was only women, and were a virgin, if you had sex with a woman would that make you hetrosexual? No, I think not, your attraction (preference) would be towards a same sex partner. There are men locked up in prsions (etc.) where the only sexual expression that can be had is with same-sex. If what you were saying was true, once released they would continue with same-sex relationships. But that is not the case, once released they return to their sexual preference. They may have had a homosexual experience in their lives but they are hetrosexuals.
