Anyone like out of the ordinary roses ?

    I love roses of all types, my garden is filled with them off all colours....well when the time for them to blossem comes around it is anyways lol

    I have a dozen varieties growing. Love the antiques. My favorite is the old Gertrude Jeekle (I'm certain it's spelled wrong). That's the rose they make rose perfume from. :)

    I only like White roses. something pure about them when they are in full bloom.

    These are on my kitchen windowsill. That is a camellia on the left. I picked it from the bush in the front yard a few minutes ago. [​IMG]

    one day my dream is to have a beautiful rose garden... I adore deep crimson roses....something about a red rose seems utterly romantic yet secretive...

    Oh how lovely. There's something special about the white ones, I'm with Jemimer on that. And echoing HardRocker's sentiment, I want to see what you've got in your garden, Kron! Flash us your roses :brow (I'm looking forward to getting an eyeful of yours, too, HardRocker!)

    I'm not an expert birder but I love observing them on my walks in the woods, and bluebirds are just such little beauties to watch. Thanks for sharing the pic, you're a lucky one to have had one in your bird bath! :)

    There arnt any roses blossoming at the moment in this garden ( but there are around 20+ rose bushes ( and if i had a cam i would be taking enough pictures for this thread and for my own pic thread lol...)

    But i will post up some pictures of my place ( that were taken last year... ( shame it doesnt show the roses in bloom, but i will try to somehow get some pictures up for when they are this year)

    WOW Dreama ( i rarely see snow here, but that sure does look cool ( excuse punn hehe ) is that your land ( if so jjust how much is there, i thought 3/4 of an acre was quite a bit ( mind you its huge compeared to english garden on the whole hehehe)

    Wow they must bllom early there...their beautiful though...


    mine only have tiny buds all over them ( not a single one in flower yet )
    But the weather here is already quite crazy for spring time (35C) ( forecast for summer is mid 40's)
