Hey liquidgen, you might want to get yourself checked up - start off with a regular doc and hopefully s/he can make recommendations - I really haven't heard anything of the like so it is best that you get checked IMMEDIATELY. Have you had one night stands in the past or have you had sex with girlfriends without using protection and not knowing whether they're clean or not? This would really apply to your partner befor this curent girlfriend.
I would also talk to your doctor about what is happening with your girlfriend and hopefully s/he can clarify things to you a bit better.
But I wouldn't wait - I think you need to bring some resolution to this case immediately.

liquidgen, women get yeast infections, and other infections all the time. There are some that that can be transfered to men.She goes to the Dr.gets meds, gets rid of it and you give it back.Men don't always have symtoms, like when women have a discharge and get itchy.Best thing to do is both of you go to the Dr.at the same time and medicate at the some time.Otherwise you will just be giving it back and forth.

ok, thanks for the input, i think i might have a male form of a yeast infection, because i had one before a long time ago. it was weird how they found it, i had a cut on my leg and it was coming out of the cut. anyway, i remember the doc never gave me anything for the actual yeast infection, he gave me topical creme for the cut on my leg to cure it. i am going to try and make an appt. with a doctor tomorrow since they are closed today, so the suggestion is to start with a reg. doctor?

wow, I understand what your going through. I had the same situation with my girlfriend, every time we had sex, a yeast infection would soon take her over. Unfortunately our relationship ended for other reasons before we had resolved the issue. Which leaves me wondering if I have a male yeast infection. I feel absolutely no symptoms. any suggestions for myself? same thing-go see a doctor?

I agree with the others for both of you guys...sounds like you need a check up. There's no need to go to a specialist or anything. A regular physician can handle this for you quite easily. It's actually quite common & don't feel weird by going to see a doc for it. I'm betting that they give you some pills (most likely generic Flagyl...which you CAN NOT drink alcohol will on that!) since it's most likely inside your urethra not on the skin. Another thing you can do if you think you have a yeast infection (this goes for both males & females) is to eat yogurt. It really does help fight the infection (but it won't get rid of it completely). Good luck Guys! Hope this helps you!

i used to get UTIs with my ex all the time, and a few yeast infections. sometimes its just a natural protein that your body has and hers doesn't have as much of.

Once you go to the Doc. and find out that it really is a yeast infection, there are a few different brands of cream you can buy over the counter. But find out for sure that's what it is.
