What's the worst injury you have ever done to yourself or illness you have ever had?
Probably the worst would be getting my jaw broken while a wisdom tooth removal, having nerve damage in my lower jaw and a plate w/6 screws
butt and knee burns lol
Non sexually, unless it was the worst you sustained
One evening, I got out of my chair and reached up while slightly twisting to the left and felt a major pain in my back. I don't know exactly what the problem was but I was out of commission for 3 or 4 days. Sitting down or getting out of a chair took 5- 10 minutes while suffering major pain. Getting into and getting out of bed took 15-30 minutes and the pain was so bad I almost passed out. There was no position sitting, laying, standing or walking that was without pain. I could only catch 5 or 10 minutes of sleep at a time. It was horrible.
I contracted infetive hepatitis while working abroad in 1978 and spent 5 weeks in hospital.
I also fell from a ladder about 8 years ago while cleaning windows and broke my heel
Worst injury was when I was 12 years old and wrecked my mini bike. Tore back the flesh of my knee. I had 32 stitches and spent the whole summer on crutches. The worse summer ever!!!! And it was the summer when Muskrat Love was a popular song. I hate that song to this day.
Dislocating my shoulder, not my current injury. I have dislocated it many time though very painful it normally pops back in.
About 10 years ago I was brushing my hair, I guess it moved wrong, it dislocated very badly and painfully and need to be put back in in the hospital. Took along time for recover the minimal usage I had in my arm before, my injury this week.
How do you define "self inflicted"?
There was the time when...
Few years ago, had a bad parachute jump, landed
in some shallow water with uneven underwater rocks.
I was in great pain but carried on for 3 days.
That was a colossal mistake, turns out I suffered
a lumbar sprain... still bothers me to this day.
In the Horn of Africa, got shot straight in the middle of the chest.
It knocked me flat on my back a good 5 feet, shattered the ceramic
balistic plates and cracked 2 ribs. I was dazed and disoriented for
a few minutes could hardly pull myself together to return fire.
In Central Asia, triggered a defective VOIED
only the initiator went off (not the main charge).
Admitedly fairly small physical injury and an
N/S boot but the psychological impact of that one
was monumental. I dont think I'll ever shake that off.
and, lest we forget the unfortunate
zipper incident of autunm 2014.
The horror... the horror...
Those are the ones I could think of right now...
there are a few others I guess could compete
Injury? hmmmm...lets see, shot as a kid and getting cut a couple times when I was bouncing, but actually the worse was my 2 knee injuries, one being blindsided in the knees while playing football 10 weeks to recover and re-injury 25 years later. Been lucky far as any super bad injuries. No actual broken bones.
there was the time I totaled my Jeep™
That was a nasty one
why do I keep doing stuff I should find a beach on a Pacific island somewhere and live off tropical fruits
Goodness yes you should!!!
Got hung up on a bronc. Broke my ankle, 4 ribs, dislocated My hip and shoulder, and three broken fingers. That was one hell of a ride lol got a concussion as well when my head was bouncing off the arena floor! Wouldn't change a thing though! Still ride a rodeo every now and again just not much time these days!
Hiya Cowboy..Giddup! xo
Goodness that's horrible!!!
Flipped my SUV end over end 3 times at 60 mph in a thunderstorm. Gash on my head-6 stitches. Gash on my right hand-9 stitches. Concussion and several minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
Had these two big bruises across my thighs. That was from the steering wheel.
All part of the game lol I knew the possibilities climbing up but its never stopped me haha something about the rush of 1200 pounds of pissed off adrenaline underneath me really gets me going!!!!
And I think the hardest part was not being able to even ride my ranching horses for almost two months!!!! Lol
