Bit of a strange question but wondered if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Does anyone believe there is an age a woman reaches when they reach a peak libido wise?? I have always heard the myth that men peak younger than women, but never had experience of this.............until now!

I turned 30 at the end of 2011 and i can honestly say my libido has gone crazy! i've always had a high sex drive but this is just ridiculous.

Any other ladies had this happen?

The sexual peak is all down to good old caveman times. The male peak is late teens as the were not expected to live much beyond their mid/ late 20's and womens was in their 30's as they lived a bit earlier and were needed healthy to do the washing.

I have to say it's only been the last 6 months or so.........i wonder if it's my brain thinking "shit i'm 30, lets keep things interesting!"

I'm not complaining and neither is my hubby but i have to say its difficult with 2 little boys in tow. Wish i could calm down a bit, late nights with hubby and early mornings with the kids is taking its toll...........just not on my sex drive lol

Isn't this all a bit subjective? Surely you only peak if you allow it to diminish. The trick is to not to allow it to fall away.

Right, try to explain this better, somhairle..........

The sexual peak for males and females is biologically related to fertility. That has been mentioned before. However, this peak that we are discussing seem to be later in life - some have mentioned around 30 in some of the women? However, surely that is a point when you have become most comfortable sexually and very experienced. Up to this stage it has been about learning and experimenting. The risk beyond this stage is complacency - not a natural diminishing of sexuality?

So the good news for Ms X is, that there should be no need to 'peak' now, or at any particular age, so long as you continue to progress with your sexual development and enjoyment?

I hope that made some sense, 'cos its bloody early where I am just now and I'm half asleep.

    ZZZzzzzz............
