My husband is very romantic just not in the traditional sense. I'm not a designer type gal. He does things like build me the perfect bird feeder. Or brings me things that intrest me. Not flowers, dates, jewelry.
I am much more traditional romantic with a huge twist of kink.

I think it depends on the person and who they are with.

I'm too pragmatic to call myself romantic. But I'd love to be with a romantic man.

My wife says I treat her better than anyone ever has. She also says there isn't a romantic bone in my body.

Then you're like my man. He's awesome with me, a fantastic man. But not romantic at all. And I love him more than words can say.

I am a hopeless romantic but my SO disagrees.
The difference is one of perception as to what romance means.
To me it is tactile things like kissing, holding hands, intimate touching, sharing special moments, sensual perfumes, brushing her long hair and massages.
To her it is simply roses and chocolates!

I think men in practice are more romantic, I think women have a higher expectation for romantic behavior.

I am a hopeless romantic and probably a soft touch . I get turned on more by a nice smile and kind words rather than the sight of private parts. Does not stop me being horny though :D

It varies, I know I am not over romantic! I would love to be with a romantic man. But I don't like being given flowers and stuff :)

Men are more romantic because that is part of the seduction. It's how guys get women to respond to them, but that is not to say that guys don't do it because it isn't genuine are they aren't actually being thoughtful and mean it. Just that is part of the masculine process of courtship. But I find women more sentimental, often saving reminders of their significant other being romantic to them (IE saving keepsakes, pictures, letters, cards, dried and pressed flowers), if that makes sense.

Men are more romantic. Often to their own detriment. Being overly romantic has the opposite effect to what the man intended. It comes off as too clingy / try-hard. Caveman style with a hint of romance now and then is the best course of action. Sending pictures of your wang can work in a pinch too.
