Whatcha' doing for the Super Bowl? Or nothing cuz you don't care at all.

The two of us will watch the pre game, game, and post game here at home. Might have a fire in the family room if it's cold enough. We'll have all kinds of unhealthy snack foods. (No alcohol - want to see & remember the event.) We'll talk about a bunch of the plays, bad ref calls, etc. We were invited to a big party at an old bar mate's house but decided to make it a date at home.

I'm pulling for Eli and the Giants. I hate dynasties like the Patriots so this if the first time I've pulled for any New York professional sports team since Joe Namath ("Broadway Joe") & the Jet's won the Super Bowl. (1969 I think)

Being a big Rugby League fanatic I know what this time of the year means for sports fans. When the Rugby League Grand Final is on we do a similar thing. Just nestle around the big screen with friends (and copious amounts of alcohol and food) for the junior league games before the big one and the entertainment in between the games. It's very exciting. And the refs always suck...

The year before last my partner and I won the first prize in the seasonal tipping competition, so we got $450 bucks and 2 tickets to see the big game. When we got home from the game I proposed. I was on top of the world. :woohoo

I like the NFL Thorn but down this way (as you would expect) it is not as big a high light as some other sports.

Oh man!! I can't wait for the game. I'm a huge football fan, Redskins unfortunately, but I'm pulling for the Patriots on this one. They are so much fun to watch. I think the Giants have a much bigger shot at it than most are giving them credit for so it should be interesting.

We're having some family over to our house. We'll have the usual superbowl food and we might even get to start a fire as well. Looking forward to it!!

Having a few friends over for dinner and drinks
already spent over 200.00 bucks on food and drinks.
7 bottles of wine and 2 cases of beer.
Don't really know who to root for as like others
I can do without the dynasties. But then I was a
patriot fan when Drew Bledsoe ran the show their.

I used to pull for Phil Simms. I watched LT break Joe Theisman's leg. That was nasty, and they showed it over and over about 20 times.

I always pull for the Mannings. I'm an Aints fan from way back.

We'll be fixing up some football food and tailgating in the den. Might roast a box of oysters.

Clue me in Hard Rocker how do you roast oysters.
That could be an interesting addition to all the other
    snacks I bought.

The Super Bowl is actually only my 3rd favorite sporting event. Number one is the World Cup (soccer - football, or futbol to most of the world) but it only is played every 4 years. Number two event is Daytona 500 In 2 weeks) and the entire Nascar season from Feb. to November, 36 races. This year I got into NFL more than I have in a long time. This is the 42nd Super Bowl and I have never missed watching one of them. We get Rugby on cable and I watch sometimes. I know it's big in most of the world but I never learned the rules and don't know what's going on most of the time. I used to watch some Aussie Rules Football. Is it that popular there?

As I said, I'm a Redskins fan. That video was gross! Then LT bragged about it in the media. Damn drug addict! :yell
