I had sex with my girlfriend last night, and my foreskin still hasn't gone back, despite no longer having an errection for the past 12 hours. What should I do?

GET IT BACK NOW! I'm not a doctor, but I *think* if it's so tight that it won't go back, it could do permanent and serious damage to your penis. I've never heard of this situation. Have you tried lube? If you can't get it to go back by yourself, get to a doctor immediately or go to the emergency room. If you do get it to go back by yourself, make an appointment to see a doctor anyway. This shouldn't happen and you need to have it taken care of so it doesn't happen again.

    Oh good grief.
    Any bleeding?
    Huge amounts of pain?
    Unable to pass urine?

Please, just have a warm bath and rearrange your foreskin. All that has happend is it a slight inversion.

    Worry not.

I can pass urine with no problems at all.
There is no pain, just mild discomfort as I would expect.
It is not swollen, it is normal sized, I am just unable to get the foreskin to keep it covered.
I tried the bath but it would not stay rearranged.
I phoned NHS Helpline and they said not to panic or rush to A+E. I am going to see my G.P in the morning, and from the sound of the nurse I spoke to, he should be able to sort everything.
I shall keep you posted though, thanks for the advice, it's quite scary.

Ok, if their is no pain or any major bleeding and you have no problems with passing urine it's best not to panic.

The advice from NHS Direct is spot on. Your GP will be able to help.

Take it easy, you'll be fine.

Then I stand corrected. I've just never heard of anything like that and still don't really understand what would cause it. *scratches head* I was thinking it was so tight that it wouldn't go back and was acting like a tourniquet. Scuba's assumption that it's an inversion is probably correct.

I'm really quite disappointed at the sarcasm. It's not what I expected to see here.

I wasn't so sure about Joe's post so I PMed him to ask if his post was facetious. He assured me that it wasn't. But still, what's with the sarcastic tone of some of the other posts?

Guys, if something abnormal was happening with your dick...uhm, how would you react? Have a little sympathy.
