Some nice harmonica based blues bands were doing well in the early 90s.. these guys... and James harman, anson funderburgh and the rockets, rod piazza, Kim Wilson.. etc..
Love this guys tone.. some great harp.
And some Kim Wilson.. (t-birds post jimmy Vaughn )
. Blues got everybody to dancin'.
This one my head this morning one of fav AC/DC is playing in my head.
Angus is a guy with one foot deep in the blues.. but the casual listener wouldnt really know it..
loves me some AC/DC.. was listening to their "black ice" album.. good stuff !
Yep, Love his Chuck Berry duck walk. Yeah all their songs are basic 3 chord blues cranked. Love em. Blows your mind how these guys are hard to replicate with such simple music. Little side note. George their brother passed yesterday, like Bonn he was a 60s bubble gum star. He helped Angus and Malcom make the run to the top. I yelled at George and high fived him at the last AC/DC concert as he walked by me in the aisle.
I was unaware of the story of their brother..I know that Malcolm has some serious health issues now..
As for the simplicity of AC/DC.. you're right, it's the raw simplicity of all those fantastic hooks.. they just grab you and don't let go..
You got to luv a guitar player that impressed Eric Clapton.
Blues is alive & well..,
I looked him up. He's 21 but looks even younger. Love the horns! Thanks for sharing.
I didn’t know how much of an influence George had on Australian music until he passed he wrote and produced for so many famous Australian bands
