I have a [sporty] Cougar (not the old mom & pop type ;) ) and I call her "Kitty".
Her name is Kitty because she's a Cougar and a Cougar is a cat, and a cat is a Kitty. So....................KITTY it is.... :D

My Kia Soul's name is Buttercup as in Princess Buttercup from Princess Bride. Why? She needed a name and the color fit and I love that movie. :)

    My phone's name is Humperdink

Truck is just Titan...Nissan gave it that one, the van Oddie, as it's an Odyssey. The car I had in high school....Death machine, since the most repeated phrase was "we're gonna DIE"

I call my car Steve because... well, when I first cussed out/talked to this car that's the name that came out.

Prior cars have been Frank, Lenny, Emilio, and Christine.

The creaky old sedan I use is named Corvette because that's what I really want. Not "The Corvette," just Corvette.

But the eponymous vehicle of Stephen King's Christine was a red 1958 Plymouth Fury... and "she" didn't love her owner; only sought to take over his mind/soul and destroy him -- killing those that stood in the way of that mission. ("She" was possessed by an evil spirit.)

As a car and King fan, I don't understand your car naming. :p

I have two, my Jeep Wrangler which is lifted and used primarily for off roading is called pull- pork, figured that would be fitting since my nickname is porkchop. My truck is named Caragio, after my Italian heritage. Other names from past cars. Betsy, Christine, da truck

my wife has named all the cars

Clio R reg (UK have letters and numbers to donote the year of registration) - so it was called Rosie - I also put some roses on the back shelf when she picked it up new
Zafira, which is blue and called bluebell
Saab convertible - called Andy - because its a rag top , like the hat andycapp (a cartoon in UK) wore
Cant remember the other car names - but they all had one.

No, banging your head on the rear window was more like it. LT1 350 bored and stroked to a 390, dynode 491hp at the rear wheels. I was drifting before drifting was cool. That and she'd top 145mph in an Impala.
