    Hmmm...listen to some uplifting music, go out with friends (or by myself if necessary), watch a comedy that's hysterical...those come to mind.

    Cheer up bud, and hang in there with whatever it is. Winners are merely the losers who were too stubborn to stop trying. :lol (I'm sure that makes you feel better, right? :rofl)

    I talk to my friends, or I eat chocolate, or I drink too much wine, or I read a good book, or I think about people who are much worse off than myself, and think about how mundane it is to be down when I could be out. :)

    Drink some hot chocolate, weave, read a book, kiss my hubby, write, sleep. A good beer doesn't hurt, either.

    I usually take a nice long drive and find a place to sit with a wonderful view.

    I usually clean or organize or get myself involved in a time-consuming project, like making cinnamon rolls. :)

    i hate to say this but i was just discussing this with my missus and she and i both think that i dont really get down, the last time we can remember was i was a bit stressed about money about 5 years ago when i first came out of uni and then i got a job and was fine. Before that i got upset when i split up with girlfriends etc as most people do, but i just dont get "down" moods for no particular reason, so when i do get depressed there is usually a pretty obvious reason (see above) i fix that and im fine again. Rambled a bit now so im gonna shut up.

    I'll get a piece of paper and write down all the things wrong with other people.... like, "he walks funny"..."she acts like a moron"... "he wears ugly clothes"... "she always throws up when she's drunk"....

    Makes me feel like a new woman in no time!! :lol

    Seriously, though, if I can muster up the motivation, I try to do something constructive. A project that I've been putting off - or simply getting that pile of clean clothes folded & put away - & yard work is always a mood lifter. Anything that takes my mind off my inner thoughts. There's always an "indicator" that lets me know its working: I start humming incessantly. Once that happens, I know I'm on the up-swing!

    Listen to music, take a bubble bath, I also write in my journal!!! I may clean the house just to make myself feel better since I am a neat freak!!
