Also, Martha or Mary?
Tough choice. I'm going to go with Lincoln because he has epic quotes. And his beard is legendary.
"I may be a slow walker, but I never walk backwards."
And neither Martha or Mary stood out to me much. I liked Abigail Adams. She was an early advocate for women's rights and women's equality in this country.
Between the two I'd say Mary.
Washington was a racist alcoholic, so I'm gonna go with Lincoln
Lincoln wasn't much better, pretty sure he called slavery a 'necessary evil' or something like that.
Personally, I'm going Washington, cause he didn't have a political party.
Lincoln was a brilliant politician who understood the political environment of his time. If he had outright condemned slavery he would've never managed to obtain the power to destroy it. (His original plan was to stop it from spreading, then the non-slave states would eventually outnumber the slave states and the practice would be slowly voted out over many years.)
neither, i want a president who combines josiah bartlet from west wing and david palmer from 24!
Neither...Truman. He knew how to deal with advisaries.
Man, Josiah Bartlett would be AWESOME!
Lincoln...cause he was a vampire slayer with some sick axe wielding skills.
Washington and Truman had one quality which set them both apart: neither wanted the job.
What are we basing this on? You could insert ANY parameter.
Which one had the larger phallus? Why one was the better president?
Washington employed a gay Prussian who increased the living habits of soldiers (ways of providing food included) pretty much altered the revolutionary war. His name is Major General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben. Forget Lincoln; we may not have even been a nation without Washington's brilliant strategies and over-looking this wonderful strategist's sexual orientation.
