OK, guys every so often i have ejaculated, and sometimes i just can't resist not doing it. But, I seriously don't think its right and i have a question. Does masturbating affect ANY way of having kids in the future? Will it be harder to ejaculate, or will it affect the kids in any way? Will ANYTHING be different than if i've never masturbated at all? Thanks a lot, as this problem has started to freak me out.

    Thanks in advance.

Dude from the time I was 12, or so till now Ive beat off probably a million times and I have a son who turned out just fine and I still shot my load just as far as I did the very first time :lol . Never really heard of that before and if it were a problem there would be articles and drs telling us to stop whacking off. Relax, thats what the nuts are for, to keep making the goo.

No, you can beat off all you want and it won't affect your ability to produce a child. Take it from someone who knows..... :eyes

both these guys are liars, but you can trust me look at my avatar, if you masterbate and then have kids it will cause the kids to masterbate. masterbation is pasted down through the genes so you are going to need to stop masterbating now or you will cause your kids to masterbate.

you also should not have sexaul intercourse with a women because if you do, and have kids it will cause your children to desire to have sexaul intercourse as well.

    so to sum it up;
    no masterbation
    no sex
    okay.

    Dear This Is Me,

You can search on Masturbation, Jacking Off or Poinding Off, or Ejaculating, and come up with varying views on this forum.

Your genes are going to be in the sperm that fertilizes the egg of your future child. Regardless whether you masturbate or not, your genes in the sperm that scores the hit will govern the biometrics of the child.

There are moral issues regarding masturbation. So don't get caught, and don't talk to anyone about it. Most societies are based on the idea that people don't masturbate. So don't talk about it. Except here.

There is a difference in the strength of indivdual sperm. Generally, sperms carrying the female code, can swim longer. Sperems that carry the male codes, can's swim as far, but are stronger for penetrating the egg. I have never seen any reliable logic, or studies, saying that sperm cells are weakened by previous occasions of masturbation.

New spermcells ar being manufactured every day, the way I understand it. The woman develops a bag of eggs, taht are released one at a time, once a month.

I have heard people badmouth masturbation, but I have never found any logic to it.

    Blessings

    2. Teaching or exhibiting goodness or correctness of character and behavior: a moral lesson.
    3. Conforming to standards of what is right or just in behavior; virtuous: a moral life.
    4. Arising from conscience or the sense of right and wrong: a moral obligation.
    5. Having psychological rather than physical or tangible effects: a moral victory; moral support.
    6. Based on strong likelihood or firm conviction, rather than on the actual evidence: a moral certainty.

    n.

    1. The lesson or principle contained in or taught by a fable, a story, or an event.
    2. A concisely expressed precept or general truth; a maxim.
    3. morals Rules or habits of conduct, especially of sexual conduct, with reference to standards of right and wrong: a person of loose morals; a decline in the public morals."

i am not exactly sure if masterbation actaully fits into the catagory of "moral issue". i think of it as more of a tradition, i feel the same way when they talk about homosexaullity being a moral issue. i think these things are more of religous traditions.

if i am wrong can someone please explain the errs of my thinking. in as few words as possible

    Dear Long and Strong,

Your distinction of masturbation as a moral issue versus a Religious issue has merit.

There are laws about nudity and lewd behvior in public. Part of the mastubation issue regards privacy. If masturbation is done privately, then there is no moral issue of public nudity or lewdness.

Private masturbation would be more of a religious issue, rather than an issue of clear morality. In fact, I think it is more moral to masturbate, so that I am in a less susceptible state of being tempted by situations that might provide an immoral opportunity.

If Catholic priests were encouraged to masturbate, then they might have been bettter able to forebear the temptation of immoral expressions of sexual fun. Less cases of molested children might have occurred.

    Blessings

so would you say that morality does not come from religion, nor did religion make morality. but some morality is in religion? and more to the point most of our modern morality, espacially western morality, comes more so from secular society then from religion?

    I'm really confused!

I like to masturbate and I don't care who knows it. If anyone doesn't like me doing it, they shouldn't watch! Lol. Morals have nothing to do with my sexual stuf.

I live in the 'bible belt' and the folks here are very religious and very moral on the surface. In private (or with a few close friends), anything goes. Morality is just a way of trying to regulate what people do, say, and think. It doesn't work with me, and it doesn't really work with anyone else either. I do what I want, say what's on my mind, and I think about sex all the time!

Am I strange? No. Am I a whore? No. A slut? mmm. Maybe ... point is, I'm a normal human female who enjoys her body. Humans are sexual beings. we can't help that. We might as well enjoy it.

Morals and laws are to protect the general public, and the sensitivities of the many.

Before there were laws, there was religion. Religion performed the function of both a government and a religion. The English Common Law was written based upon the Old Testament principles. The English Common law has been used as a basis for U.S. Law and the laws of many countries.

The purpose of morals and laws is to allow people to have a general set of rules by which to know their rights, and to expect certain courtesies to be extended to everyone else.

The right to do what you like with your friends, or spouse, in private, is a corollary of public morality.

There is an overlap for many religious with morality and law. So some religions are more or less active in promoting one type of law or another, as an extension of their religious beliefs concerning morals and laws.

Moses was educated in in Egypt which had 34 principles of good character. When Moses freed the Jews from slavery, the freed slaves celebrated in anarchy. Then, after a time, many of the freed slaves were unhappy, as they could not benefit from their good character, as others would cheat them. So Moses developed the 10 Commandments, which enabled the Jewish people to have reasonable, ethical and considerate treatment from friends and strangers.

Laws and morals are primarily intended to cover behavior that affects the public. The word MORALITY is sometimes used to describe personal character. Children grow up, so they should be protected by Child molesting laws. Sex can result in pregnancy, so the care of the child is a matter of concern to the community, or the state. Adultery was more of a concern when paternity was less able to be determined. Since Science has progressed with blood types and DNA, over the past 50 years, Adultery has become less of a Law Enforcement concern, as the responsible father can be more accurately determined, in civil litigation.

Religion also teaches principles of good character. The Catholic priests are taught not to masturbate, as Catholics believe that charisma will be increased, if they avoid masturbation, and they will be better leaders of people, as paritioners will be more persuaded by their teachings, if they avoid ejaculation.

It might be interesting to do a study of what religions teach about masturbation. But religous teachings are for public review. The advantage of Sexual Forums, is that because of being annonymous, we can discuss good character without having to put on some front of an image to protect what people think of us.

To me, handling my personal sex drive through whatever supplements I might find workable helps keep me within the law, and important moral principles, like avoiding temptations, such as rape, child molestation or adultery. If pornography or toys assist my masturbation, then using them for my personal, private pleasure is an aid to my keeping good morals. Any religious teaching about the immorality of masturbation, are outweighed, in my opinion, by the benefit of matsturbation for many to avoid any temptation of criminal acts.

There is one line in the Holy Bible that refers to idea that it is better to put your semen in the belly of a whore than to spill semen on the ground. Good character means balancing principles of right and wrong, good and evil. The passage seems to at least acknowledge the idea of a drive for discharging semen exists, and choices need to be made in handling the human sex drive.

    Blessings

Geez, I sure hope "Thisisme" didn't jump ship! This is a legitimate question.
I remember our son coming to me, crying, as he thought he might be a 'bad boy' for masturbating. We were very religious, and he was concerned about being "wierd".
I reassured him that he was normal, and that his feelings were natural, and appropriate. He was learning about his sexuality.
We, as parents, need to let our children know that sexuality, and sexual feelings, are a gift of God. Sex is probably the one most beautiful gift He has given us. No matter what is going on in our lives, we can enjoy (and even lose ourselves) in each others arms.

As far as the "does it effect my kids" thing, - NO, ejaculation is totally a physical happening. It does not cross into the genetic make-up of future offspring. It only lets you know how wonderful sex is going to be with your wife/mother of your children! Probably some distorted religious teaching has made "thisisme" think that it would harm his offspring.

I'm not sure if I would like it or not Steph. I may need to watch you a few times to decide my position on the moral fence..Since I'm in the bible belt too we should do everything we can to protest (such as watch each other masturbate)..

here's to increased mass production of "AA" batteries
