Ok people I need some help. My wife does not have an infection or any health problems. But her area down there has a urine and unpleasant odor. She showers twice a day. But the smell is still there. Any suggestions on how to make it nice down there. Other women I have been with have had a slight smell or no smell down there. We both love oral and this is sometimes a problem. Thanks

It could be diet - I've heard things both for and against diet affecting both vaginal odour and semen smell/taste. As nurseharley said, there is always douching - but be careful with that. It can upset the "natural balance" in the vagina, making bad bacteria take over the good. Cotton panties and breathable clothes are a good idea too - or none at all. Let that vagina breath! :lol

Are you sure she's completely healthy? My wife's scent changed, not for the better, and when she finally got the doctor to do a serious exam, he found uterine cysts. They were removed, scent back to light and pleasant. It could be much deeper than an infection or nomal cause of odor.

It may also depend on how well she washes herself, and how much pubic hair she has. Little or no pubic hair does make a huge difference to residual scent, everything else being equal.

    That's my take as well.
Almost safe bet she has "fishy pussy" which is a condition caused by anerobic bacteria principally Garderella vaginalis.
Google that and see if it fits the case.
Easily treated with Penicillin or Flagyl.
If not that then she might just have a strong vaginal odour; have met one before like that but eventually got accustomed to it.

Do Not Douche !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All it does is mask and screw up the vaginal PH. BAD BAD thing to do.
If the smell is not there immediately after drying off from a shower, it is quite possible her bladder may be leaking faintly.
A few things that have done this too me having an upper respiratory infection that had me coughing, taking medication that have relaxed the bladder muscles(ie muscle relaxers). Dont think this means that she would have to be wetting her panties for the odor, it could be as simple as a very fine drip throughout the day.
Hope I gave valuble insight to another possibility.

Actually, I think the tarter sauce might be the problem. Try a white wine sauce and see if that helps.

My formula for douching: I start with a a quart of warm water sterile (or distilled)I then add a cup of sterile saline solution and 1 tablespoon clear vinegar and hydrogen peroxide.
I usually douche after my period of the morning after vaginal sex (if your partner ejaculated). I try to limit the amount of monthly douches to 3 or 4.

Not a woman, but some people around here have noted before that douching can be bad for your vaginal health, apparently. Just reporting. :)

Anyway, I think just splashing these fluids on and around the outer parts should work for a while. In my experience, it smells quite fresh even after a quick shower.

Douching should only be done under medical advice as it flushes out the healthy bacteria that prevent thrush and other issues occurring.

Now that you've got all the medical advice you need you could give this a thought. Go to a sex shop a buy some flavored sex lube. One brand is called Tasty Lovin. Comes in lots of flavors like Cinnamon, Strawberry and Cherry Squirt a little down there and get after it...There are so many different flavors out there. Also she could use it on you to have herself a cherry lollipop...

    Hope this helps
    Kim.
