Some times I desire so much that I just want like five guys... to just well satisfy those desires... I'm not active with a partner right now so that tends to be a conflict of interests you could say ...

Oh brother ... I can't believe I just blurted that out ! I'm leaving... hahaha

You are totally not alone. I think most women have fantasized, dreamed, and masturbated to the thought of being the center of a 5 mens' sexual fantasies.

    No shit huh?

DarkJewel, do you slap him in the face with his hypocrisy when he does that? If not you ought to (IMO). Shit like that is just retarded at a boggling level.

I hate double standards. With a passion.

    ...However...

Nearly every sexual double standard has root in something that makes perfect sense. This particular double standard (women with multiple partners vs men with multiple partners) the root thought is the question of certainty of paternity in the event a child is conceived. If a woman has multiple partners and bears a child, there is no evolutionary way to ensure who is the father. Responsibility dissociates and they are left to themselves. If a man has multiple partners, and one of them bears a child; that is his child, or children depending. He is then obligated to take responsibility for him/her.

I'm not saying it's right. I'm not saying that there aren't ways around the possibilities/probabilities involved in the situations. But there is a reason for the belief. Double standards didn't just pop out of nowhere one day; and they do make sense to a lot of people. And that's their prerogative. My question is whether or not they know WHY they believe what they believe. Because if they don't, it's just another blind prejudice that isn't to be respected nor tolerated.
    But that's just me.

I had never heard that before, and it does make sense historically at least (The More You Know!(TM)). In this day and age though, with genetic testing, it doesn't hold up. Might not be able to say who the dad is, but you can certainly find out who the dad isn't, and there aren't many single guys who wish to stay that way that won't submit to such testing if it means getting out from under being responsible.

Oh yeah I call him out on it.

And I do believe it to a be blind prejudice with him...

Then that's a no-go. People who just regurgitate nonsense don't deserve the attention of others who listen.

    TR:
I agree with everything you've said. And I don't believe in this particular double standard. I wouldn't think less of a woman who had an orgy with a bunch of men as long as she was careful and protected herself with it.

However, have you read any work by Carolyn Abraham or any other medical reporters' works on genealogy in our country recently? Even though these tests and procedures are ubiquitous in our society, the level of people who are readily aware of their presence, ease of use, or who are just too embarrassed to seek scientific certainty vary wildly. It's commonly academically accepted that 10% is the average level of false paternity in America. 1 out of every 10 people have a different biological father than they are actually aware of. How many people do you work with? I work with about 40 people. It's likely that 4 of them don't know who their real father is and aren't even aware of it.

CA wrote a Canadian medical review citing a study in a public school in New England. In a Freshman Biology class, the kids were supposed to go home and find out their parents' blood types, then deduce what their blood type would be based on their genetic inheritance. It was meant to be a lesson in genetics. What they found out was that 30% of the students who participated discovered that their fathers could not possibly be their genetic fathers. Just through blood-typing.

And the overwhelming greatest reason for the problem? Maternal promiscuity.

I'm not saying I agree with the double standard; because I don't. But you really have to acknowledge it's validity as a criticism.
