Overhead sign says "accident ahead, right lane closed", what lane do you drive in?
What ever lane the trucks are moving into. They have cb radios and can see farther.
Ill move to the furthest lane on the left,
Follow the tractor
Ok, I'd kick on the AM radio to try and get more info. If jam is still far ahead, I'd stay to the right while I'm deciding whether or not to exit the freeway and take surface streets. If jam hits right after reading sign , I'd start moving to the left. ....
Wow, I can't believe I took the time to type all that.. Lol
wow you have signs warning you of accidents
If it happened in Australia, shove her 4WD, mount the kerb and head away opposite direction
I'll get off the interstate, if not on the interstate I'll look fur another route. Bit I don't wait until the last second to get over in bad traffic.
I go to the right lane in case I want to exit. But I also stay in the right lane because I want to be the person merging instead of the person being merged in front of. It might also give me an opportunity to get a good look at the crash. I'm fascinated with crashes.
I'd pull over and smoke a joint and wait till it was cleared up.
At times lie these, I go for the sidewalk
