“The ladder of success is never crowded at the top.”
― Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich
There's such a thing as too much money. Money that's costing you your health is too much.
When we get older and realize we won't live forever, life becomes that much important. We can't buy more time. You've got only one body and one life.
Don't wait to live later. Live now. When is "later"?
Quality of life is so important. It sucks to be ill. The meals you didn't eat properly, the hours you didn't sleep, they take a toll on your health. Later on, your body will show the signs. Then we wish we had been more careful with our bodies, but it's too late. Instead of living carefree, you're conscious of pain and discomfort.
You've got only one chance to do things that are good for your future, for your quality of life later.
Money that's costing you your health is too much.
Sleepless nights playing video games, or working... limit those. It is during sleep that your brain sorts your problems out. It is during sleep that your body is at its best in repairing itself.
Substance abuse... what for? A moment you didn't know you were living! Time of your life you weren't conscious. What fun is that?
Sometimes silence is the best response; though you have to be careful to not let the rest of your demeanor speak in the place of your voice.
The eyes are the gateway to the soul
I have said this before. Ladies if your man is abusive in any way, then he shouldn't be your man.
I've said that to many female friends, I wish at times they would listen a little better.
I wish they would listen too. One thinks that these women are less attractive, but these ladies are drop dead gorgeous and the sh*t the put up with.
The question is, how do they view themselves? I find many of my friends in that situation don't realize how beautiful they are, because the man they are with is trying to keep them under their thumb.
Not a question. They were so beaten down that they no longer saw their beauty or their strength.
This holds true for any woman or man. If you tie yourself and your self worth to someone that give them power over you. Some when they have that power become abusive. That is the nature of some people I suppose. But.. no one should put up with someone like that.
Some say they are in love and can't break away. Love should not hurt. Love should uplift and support. Love sees the potential in you, even when you don't see it yourself.
Well said!!! I need a love button on here, not just a like.
You're sweet. Thank you.
On you, yes. If those women ever need a male friend that wants to help, feel free to give them my number
Never trust a big butt and a smile
And the same works for men, too. I know couples where the woman is always nagging about the guy and verbally abusing them. I wonder why anyone would want to live like that.
