Many of you probalby remember Thorn's near death experience when he fell in the lake behind Friday's a year or so ago...

Well.... he just walked in the back door... soaking wet, from head to toe...and informed me that he just fell into our pool, while trying to manuever from the upper deck to the lower deck.

    :ugh

You need to understand - he does NOT know how to swim.

Ever seen Back to the Future?

Have him wear a lifejacket... everywhere... it's the new 'in'.

    :( not fun...

Reminds me of a story though; I was in a park near home, by a pretty big creek; I wanted to get a closer look at something on the other side, so decided to jump out onto a big, flat, white rock; only to discover the rock was really just foam and bubbles, leaving me thigh deep in some pretty gross water:(

    Sorry for Thorn though:(

    (lol)

but he walked in the door and said, "Take me to Wendy's - I need a burger"

Yeah... 'funny' - - and in serious need of counseling.

:lol Problem is - I still love the guy to death (no pun, honest!) - just wish he'd stay away from the wetlands. It gets so old sometimes. :ugh

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Rose, how 'bout we all take a nice ocean cruise together? I'll put it on my card.

Thorn can pay for it when he can easily "afford" it. :lol

    ...you.

Serious, Rose. This ain't none of my biz-ness, but I'd be sick if I had a pool and a non swimming klutz for a spouse.

I usually don't laugh before 6:30 AM, but that video clip was 'priceless'! :rofl

On topic: In defense of Thorn, we have a major renovation project going on here, so the deck is cluttered with stuff. It was dark.... :ugh
Anyway - I had terrible dreams/thoughts throughout the night about losing my best friend. Today, I am emptying the pool. Summer's pretty much over.

It's just a blow up kiddy pool. About 2 and a half feet deep.

The worst think about the fall was that I lost a full glass of cheep wine in the water.:mad
