Just turned thirty and made me realize I'm not getting any younger, not in my 20's anymore, but i guess in the humor of it or the oddity lets posts moments that made us feel old before our time.

I felt old when I realized my step-daughter (who was almost 4 when 9/11 happned) had no idea who Osama Bin Laden was.

I felt old when my coworker had no idea of what Cheers was ("the place everybody knows your name!") or what Daria (my heroine!) was beyond "i vaguely remember a girl with glasses"

New music that is complete crap makes me feel old. Ill admit though I dont really "feel" old at all yet. I guess when Im 40 and driving by high schools just to see the girls playing softball with a half boner in my pants, then Ill feel old. Maybe more weird then old.. but those girls are fucking sexy, dont lie

Dude, you're making me feel old by complaining about turning 30 when I recently turned 40.

People born in the 90s are now old enough to buy beer. :(

I agree about the music. I sound like my Grandmother when I complain about my daughter's taste in music. Otherwise at 47 I don't feel old.

Fuck you..I'll be 48 in three months. My son was 4 and my daughter 3 during 9/11 and they both know everything about it. My son starts driving in 2 months...that makes me feel a little old. I try to stay young by thinking young, staying very active, and being married to a hottie that takes very good care of herself doesn't hurt.

Fuck me. I'll be 68 this year. My dick may not get as hard as often as most guys' here, but my tongue has had over 50 years of strength and endurance conditioning and training, and I would challenge anyone here with it :)

And one thing that really makes you feel old is when your mind makes appointments your body can't keep - so I've been told :D

I agree about the music as well, although my son likes a lot of my music, from the Beatles onwards (and I remember the chaos when the Beatles came to Australia; unlike when they went to the US it was bordering on dangerous and violent here). Remembering the Beatles in a contemporary sense?

I like some of the new music far more than the 80s and 90s crap. Saliva, POD, Five Finger Death Punch, Theory of a Deadman....some good stuff.

    Where's she going?

When you have to worry about sitting on your nut sack or it dragging off of the couch and (possibly) causing testicular torsion.

We get different music here in Australia, especially in the eighties when it was mostly a mix of British and local. Now they don't do much Australian music anymore, instead of filling pubs and clubs with great bands (Cold Chisel, Mondo Rock etc etc), they rely on gaming machines to make the revenue.

Most new music I listen to is contemporary French although I have some contemporary Italian as I can sort-of read the lyrics. Anglo music doesn't interest me much at all. In both countries, contemporary music is built around harmonies, melodies, good production and lyrics which are meaningful. I liked some of the contemporary Russian music I heard when I was there, but didn't have enough time to go shopping, so I may do some online shopping and see what I can find.

Being a grandma before I was 45 and having all my children over the age of 18. I never thought that my kids would be out of the house :)

I couldn't imagine being a grandparent at 45. Mine are only 13 and almost 15, but put college on there and being 47 now.....late 50s early 60s is soon enough.
