    Hey,
So I'm almost 19 & my friends are all around the same age. Though there views on sex are VERY different, infact the complete opposite.
I lost my virginity at 16 whereas they are waiting for 'the one' & believe in 'true love', have also NEVER had a boyfriend. Neither of them seem interested in sex at all. Which is fine, everyones different.
I havent had sex since I lost my virginity (not by choice) & only had sex 3 times. I see myself as having a really high sex drive, constantly think about sex & really really really want it!
I don't want a boyfriend or a relationship, I'll be fine with a FWB or NSA 'relationship'. My friends don't really know about this but I've sort of mentioned it & they just turn there nose up & make 'jokes' about how im a slut.
I just feel really uncomfortable talking to them about anything s they are so different to me, not just there opinions on sex but just about everything.

I guess I should make new friends & really try to get a guy. Cos god only knows I need one! It's just been such a long time since i've 'done anything' or been with anyone & I dont really know how to get back out there. Theyre my only friends & they dont go out or socialise (last time i saw them outside of college was christmas x_x) so I would have to go out by myself & meet people. Im quite shy though so I have problems with meeting new people.

So any advice on how to get out there & meet people & actually get laid again? :eyes

Or, just don't talk to them about it. Sex is private and you can keep it that way if you want to. You don't owe them an explanation on anything. Do what the hell you like. Besides, what is a slut anyway?

I thought you knew. A slut is a woman who behaves like a man. :p

Jeez, I hope you weren't raped. I'm very sorry to hear it if you were. Also, you're almost nineteen and haven't had sex since you lost your virginity three years ago. I assume you've had sex with only the guy who popped your unwilling cherry. So basically you've had sex three times with one guy in three years. I'm sorry that this makes you think of yourself as a "slut" but honestly that isn't even a little bit slutty. Not even close.

That's natural at your age. Besides, having a high sex drive does not make you a slut.

By the way, I don't believe that being a "slut" is necessarily a bad thing. I mean what's wrong with enjoying sex? That's normal behavior for a man, so why shouldn't be normal for women too? It's really too bad that society has conditioned young women to believe if they don't save themselves for marriage, then that makes them damaged goods. Ridiculous.

Slut is very over used these days. One man's slut is another man's great night out. Hmmm that sounds worse than I meant it to. Why the need to openly discuss your sex life? Keep it to yourself. You are hardly promiscuous with your track record.

There is nothing wrong with having a high sex drive and if you find it hard to talk to your friends about your problems then maybe you should get some new friends who understand. I'm 19 and all my friends make fun of me for having a high sex drive, so I know how you feel. Just try talking to someone who understands.

    I concur with everything above.

What is a slut? My favorite kind of woman! Thank the sweet lord for loose women! And there is not a damn thing wrong with it either. That women (or anyone for that matter) are made to think there is something wrong with their natural sexual urges is one of the most heinous and fucked up aspects of 'civilized' culture, and believe me when I say that it sucks royal for us men too... all those times I might have gotten laid if it wasn't for instilled prudishness!

Female sexuality should be encouraged and celebrated!
