    The beach, of course!

Ordinary life is hectic, but once you visit our beaches, the only thing on your to-do list is relax. Which is much needed since I have finally finished my Christmas shopping!!

No instruction manual required for this task. The beaches along Destin and South Walton Florida are quartz-laden, and when drenched in sparkling clear Gulf waters, they shimmer like emeralds in the sun.

    Hypnotic! Mesmirizing! Enchanting!!

It's hard to remember those time-schedule-blues when you're in an Ocean Paradise!! The sand is pristine, oh so sugary white, like powder between your toes.

So I'm grabbing my beach towel & shades, parking a chair on the shore, and soaking in that beautiful sunshine this weekend...

Have a wonderful weekend & don't get too jealous!!

I want to go to Chincoteague pretty badly. I'll be going through a weekend in May or so. There's nothing like going to Assateague beach and seeing wild ponies roam around, then going to the Chincoteague park and riding your mountain bike up and down the wildlife refuge. Pretty amazing place, and insanely peaceful and not overcrowded as you'd expect.

A number of years ago, I went to Assateague. They used to have a bunch of people who would go there, way up in the north of it, on the beach there, who would get naked and some of them, so it was said, went behind the dunes and had sex. Any idea if they still run around nude on Assateague?

The beach? No not I ... I'll settle for 8 full hours of sleep and some hot chocolate.
