are you religious, non-religious, atheist, agnostic, spiritualist, Buddhist, new age, etc etc. what are you? no debates, just curiosity of the crowd around here. i wonder what sex forums attract as far as religion goes.so what are you? ima new ager. philosopher. pantheistic guy.
LOL. "No debates"????? Good luck with that. There is always someone who can't resist telling others that they are idiots for believing in God, and complaining about how religion represses, suppresses, and persecutes. But fwiw, I am Roman Catholic.
In my youth I was forced into the Catholic faith, a friend and myself cause a lot of hell in CCD as both of us thought the whole concept was complete bullshit. I, along with my sisters, are now card carrying atheists. My parents that forced that crap on us, after many "discussions" are now as my father puts it "recovering catholics" and are agnostic. My son has never questioned if there was some sort of god, he's all science, my daughter attended two services with friends, both times she came home and said "how stupid can these people be". We just shrugged our shoulders and left it at that. I agree with some of what Pope Frank says, but he's still in the stone age on other topics. We stopped by the hospital to visit a friend of my wife's, brand new Catholic hospital, afterwards we looked around a bit and the receptionist, whom my wife also knows, told us to look at the chapel. We walked in and my daughter stared at me, I asked what was up, she said she was waiting for me to burst into flames.
See. I told you so. Didn't take long at all. @backcheck64 couldn't resist. The inquiry only required you to say "atheist".
its his opinion, its all mental. what he or anyone says doesnt stop you from embracing your core values. if a guy/gal has a religion and it is genuine then they can be comfortable enough to just let people tell their story despite if it may offend them. its okay.
interesting. i wonder how many people here are of the christian faith. small number so far participating but seems interesting. i respect all beliefs. life is good.
I attended public primary and secondary schools. I went to a public school that is part of a private university (non religius) and then attended a Catholic university for my graduate degree but other than getting days off for holy days no one would know that that school had any religious affiliation.
I was only pointing out that you as the OP said "no debates". I am fine with others beliefs and hope they feel the same about mine.
Rather 'spiritual' myself....I do not claim any particular religious group as I read and partake from all them but belong to none. I just focus on being good.
Agnostic Goddess-worshipping Pagan. Couldn't give a rat's arse what anyone else thinks as long as they treat each other by the golden rule. xx
I don't identify as any religion. Though I grew up in a mixed religion home of Catholic and Jehovas Witness. Mom is very set in her beliefs, Dad is progressive.
