I had to delete the pics I posted of my wife because a member on here, would love to find out who it is, copied the pics and posted them on a wall of a bar that my wife and I USE TO go to. I thought the pics were safe on here. so, my friends that we have on here, we will share with you privately. no more pics for just anyone can see.

I'm sorry that happened but you can easily make your photos private which set them to "friends only". Then, you only add friends to your list who you actually trust.

Dude, NOTHING that you post to the internet is private and not up for copying. Why do you think I post NOTHING in the way of pics. Nothing is sacred once it hits the net.

that's pretty sad you'd like to think there would be some privacy and trust when it comes to something as private as posts can be on here. I try to keep anything recognisable out of my pictures just in case I guess

As an add on to this, once it hits the web, it will never disappear. ever.

I should also mention, if you worry about privacy, I would change your avatar, having a full facial shot of your wife as your profile picture may not be the smartest thing in the world.

when you're hooked up to the internet, unless you have one hell of a firewall, not the crap that comes on the computer, any pic you have can be stolen. Pics can be downloaded from just about ANY site. Nothing is safe or sacred on the net.

Eyup, the rules of the internet spell that one out for you too.

Rule #34: if you can think of it, there's porn of it.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I was also burned by having my pic online. It was not this forum, and it was just a head and shoulders shot, but bad things happened, and now I have sworn off having pics online.

The good thing about this place is that even though it is a sex site, most people will still be nice and friendly even if you don't post pics. Just about all the other sex sites I've looked into are mostly picture driven, so this place is great for all who want a community experience whether they choose to post pics or not.

Dude that really sucks. I really enjoyed her pic too. These days with face recognition software and if you have a facebook account, theres no hiding.

I always thought that why Mordi left the forum. Very easy to find someone once you have a face shot.

I hope this passes for you

I find it completely silly to be sorry in a situation like this. Granted mistakes happen and not everyone is technologically as savvy as the next- but if you're afraid of having those picture shared, etc don't share them to begin with.

People look for various safe havens and take solace in them but the daunting reality is that, when it was popularized, declaring sanctuary in a church wasn't an end-all method of salvation.

Learn from the mistake and move on.
