I thought y'all might appreciate this song since it's about kissin' a lady between the legs. :p Hit this URL, click on the download link, and whatever music player you use on your computer should launch. (My plan is to get this onto iTunes, but since y'all are such good peeps you are welcome to a free preview...this will only be available for 7 days or 100 downloads, but you can keep a copy if you like it enough to do so. ;))

Although my user is BassDude, I actually played all the instruments...guitar, bass, drums, and vocals (with the exception of the heavy breathing and moans, FlirtyChick did those...man, you should've seen what I had to do to her to get her to moan just right :brow...music can be a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it. :dgrin) A modest home project studio makes things like this possible. :tup This is almost the final mix/master copy...there may be a few more mix tweaks before I call it done.

Anyway, it's pretty heavy rock, but my goal was to make it as erotic and sensual as I could without making it just plain nasty and offensive, so let me know if you think I accomplished that goal!

Dude!!! That was fucking awesome! It reminded me a little (and I stress, a little) of Iron Maiden.

BTW, How did you make those wonderful spirals and shapes appear on my player?? :D

Some Living Color thrown in and Faith no More maybe... I am not as up to date with the music scene as my partner, but it sounds damn good to me. :rockon (I just had to use that little emoticon somewhere.)

Thanks for the kind words, cook! Music-wise I was going for a heavy and sexy groove to match the suggestive lyrics, so I can see some of the comparisons you mentioned.

One thing I've learned about music and people:
    - Best scenario: everyone loves it!
    - Next best scenario: everyone hates it!
    - Absolute worst scenario: no one has any opinion about it at all!

I'd much rather someone absolutely hate some piece of music I've created than not be impacted by it at all. The ideal of course is that everyone on the planet loves it.

My honest opinion? I found the vocals to be buried under the music, making it hard to distinguish a lot of the lyrics. A little more time with the mixer could bring the vocals closer to the front. Somehow it seems to improve in that regard towards the end though. Is that possible? :lol

    Nice moans though.

Very mice musical work, you're quite talented!!! Love the trash cymbal at the end. :)

Thanks for all the positive feedback, folks!

It's really surprising how much skill and talent it requires to take a multi-track recording and actually do a mix where 1) you can actually hear everything (nothing gets covered up by something else) and 2) everything you hear actually sounds good (at least within the context of the song). Add to this that you want to try to do a mix that will sound good (or at least decent) on any type of player (from an audiophile system to laptop speakers), and you can probably imagine it's quite a bit challenging. I think I've spent as much time working on the mix as I did recording all of the instruments, and even then it's still far from perfect! (I have fixed a few things in the final mix though.) The good news is that those little minor mistakes that stick out to me generally are unnoticed or sometimes even colorful to others. (It's that "we are our own worst critic" thing, I suppose! :D)

I hope you didn't take my criticism to heart. You have more musical talent than I could hope to have in a lifetime. :) A good friend of mine has dabbled with mixing, and I can appreciate the time and effort and skill it takes to get things 'just right'. You've done a fantastic job, and I really enjoyed the song! :tup

Mr. Heely, not at all! Your constructive comments were definitely valid (and were already on my list for the final mix.) :tup

Thanks for the positive comments too...flattery will get you everywhere. ;):D

Alright then...here's the last mix I did:

There's not much I get perfectionistic about, but music is one of them. There's a few things I just need to re-track (as soon as I can get enough time to do it) before sending this off to iTunes and other places. So, consider this a free preview. Enjoy!

Yeah, I know. I tried to upload the MP3 to HideBehind.com, but it only takes MPG files (movie files). So, I'll try to see if perhaps I can *paste* the audio into a movie file and upload that. Sit tight for a bit...

I had heard the song the last time you posted it, and just listened to it again. I love it, although I can't understand a word your singing. Care to post the lyrics?

Oh, just let me know if you need any more sexy female noises for your next recording, ok? :brow

    Here's the lyrics:

    Verse (sung):
Seeing you makes my heart beat fast.
Oh how I long for this love to last.
    Soft-spoken words, gentle touch, anticipation.
Touching you fills my soul with elation.

    Verse (rapped):
Celebrate the trust and oh your sexiness.
Gonna demonstrate my lust 'til you almost combust.

Feel the peppermint sting, and to me you cling.
Spiral kisses 'til I taste all of you, sweet thing.

Your mind I'll engage and your heart I'll enlist.
Until I find your special place I'll gently persist.

Smell the pleasure kissin' petals on the rose.
Love words compose, lay you down 'til your lust flows.

    Chorus:
Beloved anew, I'm so into you.
With me your heart you do entrust
With a passionate love, plus a taste of lust.
This love renewed, I'm so into you.
How I yearn, but you'll quickly learn
Need nothing in return to make you burn.

    Verse (sung):
How I long for you when we're apart.
All the passion felt is sourced from the heart.
Embrace your mind, show that love is kind.
Heart to heart, skin to skin, legs and arms entwine.

    Verse (rapped):
Put your lips to my face as I so tenderly taste
Tracing words of love in this offset embrace.

    Overpowering passion, self-control eclipse.
Write a message of desire on slippery lips.

Wave after wave of involuntary motion.
Oh how I feel your culminating emotion.

In the darkness of the night the light you'll see.
Turnin' words into passion, come on, come on, come with me.

    Chorus/solo/chorus
