Out of nowhere she was telling me about this new co-worker. Her words... "she's cute, really really cute!" The way she said it was almost like she was trying to tell me something. So I asked her, how cute is she again? "Very cute" Hehehe

SO works for a large bank and was in this branch to help out, untill they get back on their feet. So she won't see this new co-worker very often. Her name is Jessica btw.

Maybe i'm reading to much into it? But it sounded like she was hinting at something. Subject changed before I could tell her she should have gotten her #. :)

What do you laddie think? Am i'm reading to much into this? If she mentions her again, I'll ask her if she meant anything by it, but in the mean time, I'm just curious wha others think. :)

Not to be a downer, but I had a buddy who encountered the same thing. Wife talking about this great lady from head office. He was thinking maybe he'd luck into a fmf. Uh uh. The wife had a brief affair with the female co-worker. Damn!

Well, I often talk about how cute, or awesome a co-worker, or friend might be, and it usually doesn't mean anything. Recently, a girl came to work at my workplace, and I really like her-in a strictly platonic way. She's cute, cool, funny, and we have hella-fun working out together. But, she's a friend. When I talk about another chick, it mostly just means that I like that person a lot. I mean, I have had lady-crushes and I am bisexual, but I just tell hubby if I am interested in someone in a way other than just platonic.

Just a small update, although I havn't asked her about it because I don't want to seem pushy! I mentioned bringing her over for dinner one night, and other small hints.

SO has also asked me to come visit her at work so that I can check this chick out and see how cute she is...so I said fine, i'm off Thursday... I can come visit you then! She said, "good, Jess is working that day." :)

Now what reason other then the reason I'm hoping for would she want me to come check this chick out? :) ;)

She admitted to liking her. However she doesn't want to ask for her number or admit her feelings simply because they have to work together and she doesn't want her to feel uncomfy if she is weired out that a female has a crush on her ect....

Any advice? Should she just keep her feelings to her self and go about her life, or should she tell this person how she feels?

I think she should do whatever seems right to her.

I think it is a VERY bad idea to even entertain the thought of having a more than platonic relationship with a co-worker, male or female. It's very unprofessional and, depending on the policies of the company, can get you fired.
