Well, as some of you know, I've been working to drop some excess pounds and get in better shape. Posting here has been great motivation to look better, and to feel better too. It may be hard to tell, but 6 weeks ago I was 220 lbs. At 6'1" it's easy to disguise the weight, but it still wasn't healthy. So I decided to do something about it. I've been eating better and exercising more. On top of the things I already changed, such as cutting back on, then eliminating pop from my diet, drinking more water, switching to 0% skim milk, etc. I started 6 weeks ago at 220 lbs. I've dropped a notch on my belt already, and have been feeling better all around. I hopped on the scale this morning, and I'm down to 204 lbs. Not where I want to be, but damn, it's a good start! Anyone else have stories of fitness, diet or weight loss for inspiration?
