She's pretty neat, but somehow not as cute as the butterfly dogs. ;)

You run their head under water if they do that. They let go pretty quick. She is very chilled. I am lucky with her.

Why do I have the mental image of a man putting his head under a running tap (faucet)...
with a snake hanging off his nose? :lol

10 mth old white Labrador Retriever
    12yr old Jack Russell terrier
    9yr old black cat
    2 budgies
    5 chickens
and a large Blue Tongued lizard that lives under the house.:D

    What's a budgie?

    I have

    • a 13 year old indoor/outdoor female blond Lab - Nilla
    • 10 year old indoor/outdoor barn cat that ran her own mother off - Tribble
    • 9 year old outdoor Siamese mix cat that's psychotically paranoid, but has a really good appetite - Chimney (sleeps on the roof by the chimney)
    • lots of visiting birds
    • an out of control squirrel population raiding the birdseed and pecan trees keeping my pellet gun warm
    • a 24 year old college student(he lives out of town, thank goodness)
My wife grew up on an Old MacDonald farm, so she's had everything at one time or another, eieio

An abbreviated name of a "budgerigar".....
A small parrot native to the grasslands of Australia......
They can be taught to talk.

I have the laziest cat in the known universe.

By the way HW, isn't a parakeet the same thing as a budgie?

Yep - same thing. I have had several over the years. It was amazing to me that they can have such different personalities. I was told that the males were the easiest to teach to talk, which is the experience I had with them.
