I watched Daria regularly. But then there was a movie and they wrote some of the players a little out of character. Like Daria's sister, they gave her a touch of empathy. That was disappointing.

Remember when there was no internet, computers took up an entire room, phones had rotary dials and cords, there were basicly 3 TV channels, and black and white TVs.

I usually leave after the popcorn ad.

    Well, to get popcorn.

Remember when Netflix used to mail you a DVD? Remember when Amazon used to mail you a paper copy of a book? Remember when people used to mail you birthday cards? (Actually, I don't even remember that last one.)

I vaguely recall when gas was only like $1/gal. here in the US. That was in California, and I was like 12. 21 years ago. :|

Remember Beta tape? or Super8 movies? Remember 8track tape and underdash stereos? You youngins are hilarious.

St Louis had gas wars in the very early 70s and I remember gas at $.17 a gallion. My father would fill both cars and anything else that would hold gas. One US gal is 3.785412 L. That .50L = $1.90 per gal. Back then I could fill my current truck for $4.76, now it's $97.72. Of course back then a truck would cost you about $3K new and mine was $41K.

Remember when...you actually had to wait til the movie was released before you could watch it?

Nowadays, assholes have been known to spoil movies not even released yet!

Remember when the only place to see a movie was the theater? No tape, no DVD.... And yes, I know a place to get movies before they've even been released. I don't do it though, there aren't many movies I want to see anyway.

I just remember the curly TV aerials that sat on top of the television. Also TV sets were made of wood and were part of the furniture.
