My son has a rash from his bathing suit/swimming.

Do I use cream or powder?
I was thinking like 3-1 ointment?

    Thanks :)

First the disclaimer, I`m no doctor. When that happens to me I get some hydrocortisone cream and it works really well. And sounds like a larger swim suit is needed so it wont chafe .

Agreed with the above but if that does not work consider fungal skin infection. Plenty over the counter ointment to treat Tinea which is often associated with wet sports.

Powder seemed to work. So much better this morning.
He didn't even want more powder.

    Thanks for the help.

I'm diabetic and get a rash on my penis (which itches like crazy) when my blood sugar gets too high and now with the new medication I am taking. I have had male yeast infections before and the doctor recommend Vagisil or something similar. It clears it right up for me, maybe it would help your son too.
