    Does anyone take probiotics?

I was on an antibiotic a few weeks ago so I started taking them.

I continued. They seem to help my tummy.

Yes, I do. I agree that they're really helpful :)

I only took them after my surgery. My doctor ordered them for some reason.
I keep means to start taking them again. I am just really bad at remembering to take these things.

Yes, I take Pro-Biotics daily. Very helpful for gut health. And Gut health dictates all your other health!!

Always take Pro Biotics (especially) after taking a course of Anti-Biotics. As Anti's kill off your "good bacteria" as well as the bad & ugly ones. The good ones need replenished!

I do. I have pretty severe digestive issues and take them religiously. Any time I don't I get pretty sick. They help.

I've been taking them lately, just getting back to it after a long time of not using them.

Like others have said, they're good if you're taking antibiotics. Taking probiotics while on a Rx for antibiotics does not reduce the effectiveness of the antibiotics.

I need to pick up some more, I'm about to run out. I have SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) and it helps tremendously.

I get a daily dose of dense nutrition in my meal replacement shake. It has over 70 vitamins and minerals including probiotics and prebiotics. I hardly ever get sick and if I do it only last a day or so and isn't very bad.

Probiotics are very helpful when your immune systems isn't working properly.
If one is healthy without medical issues, they are not a necessary supplement if you eating
    healthy, fresh foods.

Money spend on Supplements would be better invested in Fresh healthy foods. Our bodies
were not designed to handle mega doses of anything. The closer you live to a natural diet the healthier you will be.

Fish, Foul, Fruit, Veggies, Nuts & Seeds…..If you couldn't Catch it, Pick it or Pull it out of the ground or water….Don't eat it.

I did read you should be careful buying online....if they sit in your hot mailbox, they can become useless.

I didn't buy them online, we got them in a local pharmacy. I used the Amazon page as a reference, but if I did order from them, it's unlikely that Amazon would send them in a package small enough to fit in our mailbox, anyway.

Very good point. Any supplement shipped / warehoused is subject to Cold & Heat fluctuations that could influence potency.

Same brand, however, I'm due for more and I'm considering going organic. I read an article recently that I can't locate now about some brands that should be avoided and I'm pretty sure Naturemade is on the list. We have the luxury of having about 6 health stores in a near by town that I'm considering shopping around.

A company I did order tracking for had problems with gummy vitamins/supplements melting when being shipped to the hotter states here in the US. We finally had to put a block on the product for certain ZIP codes/months.

Well if Nature Made Probiotics are no good I'd sure like to know the source of this information, because most people seem to rate them highly, overall.

We used to have a subscription to ConsumerLab, which tests supplements, but I think that we discontinued it.

Good research is important. However, individual shipments can be affected and buyers would be unaware as they are unique incidents.
