Congress failed miserably with SOPA and PIPA and got bitch slapped by the people, civil liberties groups, and internet giants. They are trying again, this time trying to be a little more secret about it. Luckily, Anonymous noticed the bill and the ACLU got involved again.

The bill is again under the guise of piracy, but I've read the bill and there is very little reference to piracy and was purposefully written to be vague. Again, it's just a way for the government to try to kill wikileaks and other sites that keep the government accountable. It allows the NSA to read your emails, tweets, voicemails... without a warrant, as well as blacklist any site that it wants.

You can email your congressmen directly from the ACLU's website here
    https://secure.aclu.org/site/Advoca...tion&id=4229&s_subsrc=120413_cybersecurity_ac

Obama has threatened to veto, and the ACLU is already gearing up to sue, but last time congress got so many calls that it crashed their switchboards. That didn't put it through their thick skulls that supporting internet censorship is a political death sentence.

Actual bill if you want to see for yourself: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c112:H.R.3523:

The government has been making a lot of ridiculous laws lately. They recently tried to make all naturopathic medicine illegal here all because of the huge controversy between traditional medicine and natural medicine. It would have been that you would have gotten fines or jail time if you were caught gardening in your own backyard. Flowers, natural plants, anything natural was going to be illegal. All cultures that did not follow white medicine would have been against the law and that interferes with peoples belief systems and becomes a racial controversy. Can you imagine that? People stood up against it and signed petitions and won so far. Apparently there are countries where it has already happened to some degree. It hasn't been the first time they tried here, and they will keep on trying. They don't have the peoples best interest in mind. All they care about is brainwashing, drugging people and making them sicker and using biochemical warfare.

They want to put a stop to people assessing any information and any truths about history, current world affairs and knowledge about pretty much everything. They already have major brainwashing and bans censored all over television and the media, and pretty much everything that goes on is either propaganda, and all the disasters that are going on right now are not even reported. But as far as information goes, anything deemed important to them that could turn people against them, they are trying for mass control over the population.

And the whole thing about them reading emails, ect - I'm sure they do that already. They already have that technology, there wouldn't be anything stopping them, especially not some law. They can listen in on phone calls, they apparently already do. And everything on the internet and computers is already traceable. They can get enough info from everyone on facebook anyways. They probably just want to make it a law so they have permission. Doesn't mean they don't do it already.

Obama has no say in what goes on, he is just a puppet. The government is run by more than meets the eye.

But what's going to happen, and what is already happening is a lot of people are getting pissed. People all over the world are waking up and are no longer asleep at the wheel.
By the rate things are going, soon enough it's going to cause a mass revolt, people against the government. Makes me kind of disagree with some of those conspiracy theories. They can't be that stupid. Sometimes I think there are some people behind all of this, that are wanting the people to wake up.

They already took down all the good pirating sites, SOPA won that part of the battle. But you can't expect people to pay for something again once they have gotten it for free. Nope. No one is going to abide by those laws. As soon as they shut down all the sites, all the pirating communities just created more sites, and the government isn't really going to have a say in anything that goes on if they continue pulling shit like this. You can't stop people from banding together, especially once it becomes the whole population.

Artists, musicians, ect... are going to have to find another way to make mullah, and that's what it comes down to. Internet and technology becomes more advanced, it's going to advance until it gets out of control, and I don't think the government has any control over that. People will just get more and more greedy, until something snaps, and then probably the currency systems won't even be worth anything. But that's a wishful prediction LoL.

I'm sure the government is already spying on my email, the difference is that they can't use it in court. We are spying on government emails too, thats how we know of the secret plan to expedite Julian Assange, how we found out that a company called Straford fabricated the sexual assault charges, it's how we know of a lot of the secret prisons. But then the government labels us terrorists for checking its emails.
