what phobias you have, which is irrational fear of something, where the key word is irrational

I afraid of those little pieces of glass that can get in the bottom of your foot so you couldn't walk properly until they are out

    also jellyfishes

I also afraid of passenger planes, though I wouldn't call it a phobia since aerodynamically they can't compare with the jet fighters, also they will never give you a parachute or a place from where you could jump off the plane

    :lol

Most any phobias have rational and an irrational parts to themselves.

I am afraid of heights; but ONLY when I'm by the edge of something (eg. a window overlooking a city scape 24 stories high).

I am also afraid of failure which is why I strive to not have that as an potion in my life.

I have acrophobia as well. I think it is a pretty common one. Also aracnophobia.

I saw The Exorcist when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade at a friend's house. I refused to sleep in my bed for over a year because I thought Linda Blair was under there. It was so bad I woke up one night (on the couch) and saw Linda all possessed robbing our kitchen of its silverware.

At 15 I was still running from the hallway and jumping on my bed so she couldn't grab my feet. I've since gotten over that. :]

I don't really have any phobias, but it is extremely difficult for me to open up to those around me about personal things. That has always hindered my relationships.

I got an irrational phobia for sure.
There's no name for it and it's not very specific but I'm terrified of big round things. Like water wheels, boat propellers, church bells, things like that.

I have no idea why I have this and there is no reason for the fear making it irrational.

Here is some examples that would terrify me if I was near them in real life:

That second picture had an effect on me even though it's just a small picture.

I am claustrophobic and I have social phobia...I hate crowds or small public places filled with many people in small space and when it's loud it can get worse for me.

I don't think I have any true phobias, but the one thing that makes me feel sort of unsettled is being alone.

This one time a long time ago when I was little our family was on vacation and we went to this place that had the biggest water wheel in sweden. Thankfully it was all inside a building so you couldn't see it from the outside but there was also no way I could go inside that building. The panic I felt was so intense.

I'm sure you would have loved to see that wheel though. :)

Another bad time was when we visited Le Mont Saint Michel and took the tour around the monestary. The problem was that the tour path required you to pass the supply line winch which is basicly a giant wheel that was used to haul up good from below. I was totally paralysed with fear and panic and the only way I could make it across was to have my mother cover my eyes totally and walk me past the wheel quickly. That was not a fun experience.

I'm in no way capable of handling even slightly bad food. It it looks like it's a little bit rotten, moldy or whatever it instantly causes me to want to throw up. I react WAY more on rotting food than anyone I have ever known X3.

Also, insects... Dont liek dem insects. Luckily I live in Norway, where they are small and few =3.
