    Only if you're a girl, though-soy has a lot of estrogen in it. I had to eliminate it from my diet, because it was affecting my hubby's sex drive, and mine, in opposite ways. It sucked. It's much better since then.

    It's a good thing you figured that out. I use a powdered protein supplement made from whey. Do you happen to know if that would have estrogen in it? The can says nothing about it.
    I figure you, being vegetarian, may know better than most folks here.

    Whey is a by-product of milk-it's a great protein source, and it has no soy in it. It's more than safe to use-my husband uses it before or after workouts to supplement his protein levels-plus, it has lots of great vitamins in it.
