ok i may sound like a noob since im asking this but last night i was masterbating and i began panting and beathing hard during it and when i cummed i was out of breath and tried to catch my breath and my heart was pounding. Is that normal like it was just a great orgasm or something wrong i just wanted to ask because i never had anything like that happen to me before. answers and comments are appreciated. :)

A good orgasm can definitely take your breath away. Don't worry about it. Go out there and ask a girl out on a date. If she says no don't worry about it. Ask another girl. You will find the right girl and you can see how sexual arousal can really feel. It will definitely take your breath away.

sounds like you just had a really good time? if you're concerned talk to a doc about it, may edit it to be 'during strenuous activity' if your doc's not cool about sex?

My wife takes my breath away with just " That" look across a crowded room.

I wouldn't say not to worry about it. You could be exaggerating or under-playing your experience (words have a tendency to "imply" more or less than what really is).

Do you get tired going up a flight of stairs?

Breathing and heart rates increase... while hunger usually seems to decrease. What you should be worried about is if your bp and heart rate are too high.

I think this is a perfectly normal physiological response to high level stimulation.
It sometimes happens to me during a particularly arousing sex romp ;)

Out of breath and a rapid heart beat during masturbation? I wouldn't have it any other way, and this is coming from someone who considers masturbation to be an art that can be honed and perfected.

I am also reminded by Bushy's post how fun the word, "romp", is.

    There could always be something.

But no sense is over-wondering over "spilled milk." If there was pain associated with it and/or you found yourself being out of breath doing normal activities then you should worry.

You should, however, mention it during your next doctor's visit. Chances are s/he'll reverberate what others have said.
