pI'm 7 inches long but 5.3 inches thick (average girth only 3.7 inches)

I only had one sexual partner in my life who was a virgin when we met and subsequently got married. However, she couldn't take my penis in at all (couldb't have intercourse). Later on, she had to have a surgical operation to open her up!!

Now she can take only half my penis with a lot of pain, extreme pain despite all the copious lubes, the protracted foreplay and taking it very slowly.

Do you (especially ladies) think this is something you've come across before?
and do you find a penis that thick can be problematic to the average woman?

    your input will be appreciated

Do you mean the girth of your shaft is that measurement? That doesn't seem all that huge, I mean I have a dildo that's 6" around and I get it in easy enough with proper lube.

Thanks (Cowboy Lover) for your reply.

Sorry for my confusing post, to clarify again: my length is 7 inches and my girth is 5.3 inches.

it's true it might not that huge, but it certainly is for my wife.

I'm wondering in your case for example, how long did it take to move on to the bigger girth dildos for example.

and how about the more average and more petite females, would they find that girth difficult to take in or painful?

this is really putting me down as I've never enjoyed any single intercourse due to my size :(

Um, in my case, I just put it in, didn't have to work up to it, I just did it once I was good and horny. Really, 6" isn't painfully large for the average woman, I don't think, and I'm not so sure I like you implying I am bigger than the average woman.

I don't know what to say to you about your wife, maybe just buy a bunch of smaller dildos and work up to a bigger one.

Oh, and where did you get you info when you quoted the average girth of a penis as being 3.7 inches?

Also, you said, "this is really putting me down as I've never enjoyed any single intercourse due to my size." Are you telling us that you have NEVER been able to penetrate a girl because of your size? Forgive me if I am confused, but I find it hard to believe you couldn't find a girl to handle you.

That was from the thread on (Penis Size). In addition from what I've seen so far, most penises are much skinnier than mine :)

I think you may be smoking something funny. Someone posted a source here, and there are actually comparison charts. You aren't "Huge" at all. I suspect your wife may need a dorsal clip.

CowboyLover, please don't get me wrong. I believe you are the top chick on this site and indeed your erotic writing got me to fantasize about you often ;)

I've had only a couple of relationships in the past but the only sexual relationship was with my current wife, so I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to how other girls find my size. But really personally I'd rather have a smaller/skinnier one b/c it's giving my wife and hence me a very hard time!

MikeHardwood, excuse my ignorance, what do u mean by "I suspect your wife may need a dorsal clip" ?

CowboyLover, remember you are my hero girl!

Your wife needs to find a better gynecologist, even if it means making a trip to the nearest big city in order to see a highly reputable doc with a major hospital. There's no reason why she should have to continue enduring this suffering, and it's definitely a woman problem because there's no logical reason why any woman shouldn't be able to handle a 7" L x 5.3" girth cock. 5-7" in length is average for a man, as is 5" girth.

Vagina size has absolutely nothing to do with frame size. There are large women with small vaginas and petite women with large vaginas.

??? A "dorsal clip" is a partial circumcision...for guys (obviously).

    hehehe, ur hilarious CowboyLover.

But to everybody, plz don't get me wrong. I'm not bragging about size or anything. This issue has put my marriage in serious trouble and is still an enormous source of stress and tension between my wife and me. I never enjoyed any physical or emotional connection during intercourse b/c she would be in bad pain. She absolutely dreads penetration.

I was wondering whether the problem is mine due to size or whether it's more her issue being too tight or something else.

Also from what I've seen, most standard dildos and vibrators are smaller and thinner than my manhood which makes me think that most women are not receptive or at least do not favour my size!

But the feedback I'm getting is certainly helpful especially from the ladies

I've spent a fair amount of time scoping out adult etailers, and from what I've seen, and heard from other ladies, around 6" L x 5" girth is typical for a dildo/vibe. Now if you're talking about anal toys, they're generally smaller in size.

You're trying too hard to make this your problem. Drop the ego-stroking act and get her to a better doctor.

I have never had a single problem with my size except for dogy style at times...

I always had thought most if not nearly all vaginas will accomodate near on any sized penis with enough lube and arousal..

and bluesy is 100% right size of a females frame has nothing to do with size of her vagina, thats a myth made up form guys

There maybe an extra option, surgery to down size your penis to perhaps 6" long and 4" girth or something like that to allow your wife to enjoy sex with you more.

and just to give more info ..

my wife used vaginal dilators for a few months post-op (after her operation) but the biggest dilator was still thinner than my own member. They certainly helped me achieve penetration in the first place but the penetration is not deep nor enjoyable due to the pain on her side.

Well, it would make sense to use objects smaller than the typical penis in order to gradually stretch the vagina. Once she'd grown accustomed to the largest dilator, the next step up would be an actual penis--yours.

How many times do I have to say it? She needs to see a better doctor.

I know all of the statistics vary, but from most I've seen 95% of men have a larger girth than 3.7 inches. Your size is not abnormally large nor should it be a problem for any woman (IMO) unless there is something wrong--with her. After all, women are made to give birth to children--the vagina stretches to accommodate childbirth, just as it should relax/stretch to accommodate intercourse.

I agree with Bluesy--she needs to find a better doctor.

No, a "dorsal clip" is when they surgically snip the back side of the vaginal opening to enlarge it slightly. Sometimes a small woman has problems. It is rare, but it does happen.

My honest opinion is that you aren't giving her enough foreplay to create the required moisture to lubricate entry.

Have her see a doctor. There doesn't seem to be a good reason (that we can figure out) why she can't take you. She's having serious problems, obviously.

Bluesy thanx for ur generous replies. you've talked about better docs and dildo sizes and I've got some comments to make.

First, my wife saw many doctors who offered/suggested stuff that didn't work at all. We finally visited our town top gynecologist who agreed to perform the operation. Even the operation was my own suggestion b/c we exhausted every other option out there. I also suggested to the doc to make the hole bigger b/c I'm "above-average" but she didn't listen to me and she was worried about the "loss of sensation" if she made it big. So I must admit that most doctors we've seen weren't helpful and they seem to know very little about cases like ours.

And I did a very extensive search on adult etailer looking for sizes and the standard ones seem to be 4 inches in girth at their widest section!. And I also bought a couple of dildos and vibrators but the biggest was about 4.8 inches in girth.

I also watched a program titled "the World largest Penis" and they interviewed well-hung men including well-hung black porn stars, and most of them reported having problems when it comes to penetration of the "average" G/Fs and some reported break ups due to this very particular problem. So big cocks are real pain not only in the hole, but also when it comes to relationships with many "average" women.
This really made me feel bad about myself that I wouldn't enjoy sex not only with my wife but also with the "average girl"

"Kronnie" .. I have seriously contemplated penile reduction surgery, but the potential complications and the risks are very scary plus they aren't readily available in most places, certaily not in my place.

"gabriela" .. most statistics come from either self-reported surveys (hence lies and inaccuracies) or from voluntary consent by guys to be measured by researchers in which case only "bigger" guys tend to consent!!
so most stats are really biased and do NOT represent the general men-population, if anything they give exaggerated results !!

MikeHardwood ... my wife underwent what you call "dorsal clip". The medical term for that is "Fenton's procedure" used to enlarge the vagina!

Not having enough foreplay? well.. I usually make her cum clitorally before I go in so that she can be dripping wet, and on top of that I lube my fella before penetration

Pride .. your stats are undoubtedly hugely exaggerated.

By the way people, I don't consider myself HUGE, but certainly at least "well above average" in terms of girth both statistcally and from what I've seen in porno dating sites. And again note that those who show off their fella tend to be those with bigger ones!
