I have an all in 1 printer/scanner/butter your toast/wipe your ass sorta jobbies. My printer works fine, but my scanner isn't supported. WTF? I know there's a way to manually edit the config files to get XSANE to recognize your scanner. How the motherflipper do I do such a thing? :hoppingmad

I'd hit it with a hammer! Doesn't fix it but it sure does vent my frustration with the darned things! ;>

Sometimes hitting things fixes them. Take my previous vehicle for example. The headlight went out in it. My girlfriend walked up and kicked it just to be goofy. It turned on...

How ironic. My headlight just went out in my new car, and when I kicked it, it wouldn't turn on.

Now I'm missing my reliable General Motors product I used to have! :rofl

No luck yet. I checked all 3 sites, nadda.

I have an Epson CX 4800 all in one. If you can find anything, let me know. Right now, the printer works GREAT, but the scanner just isn't responsive.

How do I get the gutenprint thing to work? I did a cd Desktop in terminal, then did some other shit to run it. Supposedly gutenprint is installed. But I have no fuckin clue what to do now. Some dude told me to run it and read the readme's, but they're practically in a different language to me.
