I confess, this is my favourite of all positions and we find ourselves in it almost every time. Rarely do we have sex without one round in this position, often several, and half the time we'll decide to orgasm like this. Certainly it requires strength, however, technique can offset any difficulties tremendously. Try it in bed first on your knees and move into this position by placing your hands around the small of her back while she clasps hers around your neck. Scoot your knees up, getting ready to lean back, and in one motion and with her effort as well, forcefully swing back lifting her and yourself into a vertical position. At this stage, I slip my hands, one after the other, in between her legs and right under her buttocks. My forearms are vertical at this point, 90 degrees with my upper arms. It's crucial to have her body as close to yours as possible avoiding any leveraging disadvantage, keeping the centre of your combined mass along the torso. I scoot her bum in as close to me as possible, with the forearms acting more like hooks under the back of her thighs and the hands under the bum. It's helpful in order to balance if she extends her legs straight out vertically, perhaps locking her knees and keeping her legs muscles taught and firm, a turn-on in itself. If she relaxes and drops her legs, the action of pumping her up and down on you can become more difficult and unbalanced.

My gf is almost (not quite) petite (around 50kg or 110 pounds), so in the beginning I'm able to push her up and away from my body almost dangling her in the air. This is even more erotic to us, but draining too. I alternate between close lifting which seems effortless when aroused, and the more independent dangling lifting, bringing her to the head of the penis for a deep kiss and then slowly setting her down the shaft. It's physically demanding to be certain, but the pleasure drives us to new heights.

I'm thrilled with my longstanding gf in every way, who happens to be only the 2nd where it's been possible to enjoy this kind of routine, due both to my physical changes (I'm officially rather fit now, after years of being the anti-athlete) and to her own size/weight (sub 55 kg).

I find there's plenty on the web about 'lift and carry' stuff, but little on how women feel about it themselves, in particular the position I've described. So for the women reading this in particular, how does it (if you've not experienced it) strike you, or if you have, how is it for you? I'm very happy in my gf enjoys it (orgasms reached from time to time in this way) but I'm simply curious how erotic it is for others in general. I have no desire to test this outside of our relationship, but remain curious. Again, I'm primarily interested in responses from women, their reactions, and not men boasting.

I don't know I am pretty "normal" in the bedroom. I being at a much heavier weight then your petite girlfriend (yes she is petite at that weight) don't enjoy those kind of positions where I feel I may be hurting my BFs back or could be causing any discomfort to him at all.

I really don't think I could reach an orgasm in this position. Maybe if I lost a bit of weight and was more flexible I would test out this position as my BF is very strong.

That being said I would be able to lift your GF into that position at her weight lol

My best friend weighs 143 and I can lift her over my head :p

Congratulations. I love the whole idea of standing sex. Not all can accomplish it. I watch one porn actor do it regularly as its part of his repetoire. He does take it a step farther by lifting his partners completely over his heard and engaging them orally. He then lowers them to his cock and continues the process. I don't beleive he tries to orgasm this way as he has more tricks.. He is huge and very strong in the shoulders, arms, hips and legs and seemingly a real giant. I always enjoy watching his vids. He normally is shown with two women so it's a real circus act.

Again congratulations and have fun. When it's really really good there is no reason to look elsewhere for great sex.

This is what I said in another thread about this type of thing:

Well, I think the thing that makes an impression on me is that I'm in contact only with him and nothing else--no sheets or floor or grass or anything. I don't feel like I'm floating, but I do feel suspended and very close to him. There's a lot of strength and energy in that position too.

It's a little difficult to get a lot of motion going in that position, like long thrusts and so on. We're pressed together and don't really have anything to push off of, except each other. Gravity still works its evil.

    Many thanks for your replies.

Taken, I gather then that from a woman's perspective, all this should be be done in an effortless way, or as much a possible, in order to avoid distracting thoughts in her, like "can he really do this/am I safe?", detracting from the pleasure. Flexibility isn't critical actually, at least not in the way my gf and I are doing this. It's generally not difficult to hold and carry someone from the front, as you say, but thrusting is perhaps another matter. And the overhead lift you mentioned, well....that would be impressive. Sounds as though you're either extremely fit or perhaps have, gymnastic, cheerleading or acro experience where those lifting techniques might have been gained?

Rosenkavalier, do you feel standing is a common fantasy? And if it's relegated just to fantasy for many (it was for me as well, earlier) I should emphasize that the pleasure I find is more from the lifting than standing, and that can be accomplished much more easily while in bed, standing on ones knees. If the partner straightens her legs out and comes in close, much less strength is required. Simply holding while inserted in this position is the first level to come to, the least demanding, and a nice resting position in between any thrusting.

Meee, although there's certainly been a learning curve, I actually do find it possible to get a great deal of motion, including long slow thrusting in this position. It's more difficult but she seems to enjoy this the most, and that drives me massively. Would it be the same for you or maybe for many women as well? It takes the focus out of the purely lfiting aspect, and brings it back to the motions of sex. The "strength and energy" created in that position you mention, are you referencing something from yoga or the Kama Sutra? I'm curious to know more.

This is essentially an automatic ecstasy trigger for me and I'm now trying to expand upon it. I'm looking to find variations likely to be more pleasurable for women in general. I'm soaring with the feeling this creates, empowered to do more than I thought possible. To find ways to give her even more pleasure while doing it is my goal. I haven't told her that I'm doing a little research on the side ;-) but to be perfectly honest, now that I know what truly works for me, I'm just so intensely curious how women feel and respond to this.
