Hey folks, question regarding something i saw on "Sexual Secrets" a while ago. Talkin' about "kegels exercises". Now i know what they are, but not a lot about the best way to perform them (i.e. how many, how long etc.).

The show talked about them as part of a Karma Sutra or "Tantric" sex experience. I can't say for sure if this stuff actually works and for those that make it happen, all the power to you, but personally i think its a lot of New Age crap.

But this caught my attention when they mentioned the Kegels exercises and how a male can stave of ejaculation while still experiencing all the sensations of orgasm. And by doing this be able to remain erect and continue love making for a longer period of time.

Now I know that once the male reaches "the point of no return" it seems almost impossible to hold it in (so to speak). I guess my question is can these excercises really give a male the ability to keep from ejaculating in order to maintain erection for a longer love making session? If so, is it hard to do? What measures must you take (i.e. exercises) to achieve this level of control?

    Thanks for the help,
    Cheers,

Simply do a Kegel and hold it for 10 seconds. They say to do 20-30 throughout the day. Do them lightly. So your abs or ass doesnt tighten visably since that's really not a Kegel if they do.

I would have thought the few guys that say they like by this would have come in with their knowledge of this subject...

Sorry i cant be of any help realy as i dont do them never have either...

I can last and stay hard enough not to be worried about learning them, If i cum i wait 5 mins and i am ready t ogo again..

But all power to those that live by this way.

    I did find this though

Kegel exercises were originally developed as a method of controlling incontinence in women following childbirth. These Kegel exercises are now recommended for women with urinary stress incontinence.
The success of Kegel exercises depends on proper technique and adherence to a regular resistance Kegel exercises program. Some people have difficulty identifying and isolating the muscles of the pelvic floor.
The principle behind Kegel exercises is to strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor, (PC Muscle) thereby improving the urethra and/or rectal sphincter function.
Care must be taken to learn to contract the correct muscles. Typically, most people contract the abdominal or thigh muscles, while not even working the pelvic floor muscles. Several techniques exist to help the incontinent person identify the correct muscles.

Check yourself before doing kegel exercises.

Place your finger in your vagina and squeeze around it, when you feel pressure around your finger you have located the correct muscle. ( this may prove difficult for the males )

Kegel exercises serve to tone and strengthen the pubococcygeus or "PC" muscles which form the floor of the pelvis. The health of these muscles plays a vitally important role in sexual arousal and climax, as well as in other aspects of bodily functions. Now that you have located your PC muscles, you can begin kegel exercises while your bladder is completely empty.

First, try squeezing your PC muscles whils doing your basic kegel exercises as hard as you can for a count of three seconds. Then let them relax. To begin with kegel exercises, see how many times you can do this before the muscles feel tired.

Now figure out a suitable routine just as you would if you were trying to tone and strengthen a different muscle group by going to the gym every other day. For example, suppose you start by being able to do only five strong squeezes: try doing three sets of five once or twice a day for a week, and then try increasing your kegel exercises to three sets of eight strong squeezes.

If you work up to three sets of thirty or more strong squeezes, you are probably healthy enough for most purposes, and need only to maintain this level of fitness by doing these three sets of Kegel four times a week (instead of kegel exercises once or twice a day).

We also recommend that you experiment by varying the type and timing of the PC squeezing you do as you train these muscles: slow clenches, many quick flutters, and so on. This will make you more familiar with these muscles – notice also when your abdominal muscles or your anal muscles feel like they also want to join in the Kegel exercises are being done improperly.

Remember, you should try to separate from anal squeezing. If you are in doubt, go back and find your PC muscle while attempting to urinate.

Our kegel products are designed to help you with doing basic exercises, and improving your sexual health!
