    Read it like a normal, every-day print-out.

    Easy as pie :)

Me too. It's as clear as water to me. But then again, if 55 out 100 people can read it, then that's a majority. Therefore, I'd say that people who can't read it are the strange ones.

Cool! Yep, I read it easily :cool That's so interesting, that as long as the first and last letters are in the correct place, that's all that really matters. Wow...the mind is very strange indeed (and fascinating!).

Of course I can read it; I've been on chat boards ever since Al Gore invented the internet! ;)

Seriously, I only stumbled momentarily over a couple words. Yeah, I'm with the majority!

I was in the print media business for years... lots of proof reading. If it was important, like adverti$ing, I'd read it once forward and then once backward, to catch any misspellings.

I definitely know that not all of the letters have to be in the right place to know what a person is trying to say, because I make many many typos. I read misspelled words fluently. Its other languages that have me thinking HUH??

I believe more than just 55% of the English speaking population can read this type of text. I'm thinking more along the line of 90%.

Lets see how many responses you get that say they were unable to read it.

However that has all got to do with the fact that the first and last letters were placed in their correct position, whereas when people make spelling errors this is not always the case.

Not that I care as I make enough errors myself

I could read that without too many problems, did the research state if the 45% people that couldn't had english as their first choice

Also when people mispell things they put in more or less letter than what are in the orginal word.
