First, I want to say that I love my husband very very much. He is a sweet, tender and loving man. However, I am very frustrated and confused and am starting to feel hopeless. We have been together for 4 1/2years. He had problems from the day we met. He has problems getting and maintaining erections and when he does he has premature ejaculation. We have tried Cialis, which is a hit and miss. It seemed to work at first, but now he still looses his erection with it. I ALWAYS have to give him oral sex to get him aroused and even sometimes that doesn't work. I have been very patient and understanding for years and am starting to become disinterested and even opposed to having sex. It's just not worth the effort for 2 seconds of his pleasure and me wanting to just cry.
    Please Help

Has he had a good thorough physical by the doc? There are so many things that affect circulation that it's hard to guess. Testosterone level can be a problem too, but almost everything is treatable.

thats rough. there isn't much you can do about it without going to a doctor. you can try to get him to exercise a bit, like cardio which will allow more blood flow, its like a natural cialis :p but if you say cialis doesn't work that well then he might just be that rare few who has a very... very low libido :(

He needs to get checked for diabetes, these symptoms are very common for men with diabetes. Hang in there girl and make him seek help. He has to be frustrated too!

Sounds psychological to me, especially with the Cialis working and then not. If you worry about losing your erection then surely you will lose it. The physical check-up is recommended, mostly the full range of pathology tests, but if that isn't the problem then there is a two-pronged approach to fixing this. First is a psychologist to give the tools to gain confidence, and with confidence will come, over time, the ability to last longer (the premature ejaculation is due to the guy rushing before his erection fades, so if it doesn't fade he can re-train himself to take his time). In the meantime the injection therapy Caverject is the solution, as this gives a good solid erection for about 30 minutes or more regardless of any psychological issues. Unfortunately, Caverject was withdrawn in the US for some reason, but it can be made up by a compounding pharmacy for injection at 60mcg of Prostaglandin E1 per ml of saline, injecting a maximum of 0.5ml per time (30mcg dose) into the base of the penis (it doesn't hurt because there is little sensation there and the 0.5ml syringes use a tiny needle). I use the prostaglandin / saline mixture at home, and I use Caverject when I travel because it doesn't need refrigeration (Caverject is still available in Australia, but is more expensive than the compounded option).

Cialis is not a permanent solution for sexual health improvement. It seems that your husband is suffering from a big problem so as you.take care of his diet and exercise is also necessary for better sexual health.Communication may also help to overcome this problem.

First of all impotence and erectile dysfunction are not the same thing.
The subject of this post has ED but cause unknown.
If it were purely anatomical failure then Cialis would work each and every time.
This situation appears quite complex and may involve a number of factors including physiological and secondary manifestation to more serious underlining issues.
Thorough medical investigation is a necessity in this instance.
