I wasn't sure where to post this and I hope it's ok to post here.

A while ago I submitted a novella to a publisher and it has been accepted! I am so excited! I am now a published author. Yay!!!

It's an erotic story with a force fantasy / rape fantasy / non-consensual theme so it's not everyone's taste. But if you like the rough stuff you may enjoy it! Details are on my website which is listed on my profile. If I'm allowed, I'll mention the publisher's website or even post a direct link to the eBook (perhaps a moderator could tell me if I could do this? Thanks!)

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all as I'm so excited!!! :D :D :D

i just hope people can accept a passive protagonist, he's too broken to really be charming or charistmatic

Thank you so much for all the congrats!!! I'm really so excited about this and still can't quite believe that it has been published. I go to the website at least once a day just to check that my book is still there!

Anyway, I really hope that it does well. But I'll just have to wait and see :)

Thanks Trond! I have to say that my book is quite the opposite of dry ;) But I'm sure your scientific articles are excellent :D

You know, I'm sure there is! I had a fair bit of difficulty finding a publisher because most of them say from the start that they aren't looking for non-consensual stories so I didn't even try submitting to them. If you keep looking though, I'm sure you'll find a publisher who is interested in what you write. Is it erotica? If so, you could join the writers' group I belong to (link on my website or PM me) and there will no doubt be someone there who has an idea and who can help you.

Thanks again everyone for all the kind words!!! If you do read my book, please feel free to let me know what you think. I'd love to hear any comments!

Congratulations! Such an accomplishment. That must feel wonderful. I'd like to be published too. I can picture myself autographing it for people. Oh wait--I'd have to write something first. Hmm.

Same here. I also had some input for an article in Playboy a couple years ago,. That was fun.

Yes, it's a lovely little high! According to other writers I've spoken to it's never quite the same as the first time but I think that if I am lucky enough to get my 2nd book published too, I will still feel great!

Thanks! Not sure I'll be signing any autographs though! I write under a pen name because it's not just erotica - it's non-consensual erotica. It's pretty hard core and I'm not sure that I need everyone in my family and anyone who ever googles me to know that I've written this type of book! After all, there is only so much you can make up without having experienced it first hand ;)

Nice! I hope you kept a copy. At the moment my novella is only in eBook format but I'd love to see it in paperback one day. It must be even more amazing to actually physically hold in your hands the work you have created :)
