maybe I will today, I'm still workin on it
Well, as some of you know, we've been going through an extended dry spell. I haven't said much about it, and haven't talked to my wife about it at all (shame on me). I brought it up several times in passing, but we never really sat down to discuss anything.
It's been busy as hell for both of us at work this time of year, her even more so than me. She's been working 18-hour days, 6 days a week, for the past 6 weeks. And to top it off last week was 'hell week', so no nookie for moi.
After watching a movie last night on the couch, she climbed on top of me, kissing me sweetly. That's usually the sign that something's gonna happen. So into the bedroom we went for 40 minutes of passion. :woohoo
I won't get too excited though; this has happened before. The only question is, will there be a repeat performance tonight? Or in the next week? Or even the next month?
Only time will tell...
Sexcellent! Me too!
Oh wow...I had no idea. Stress can definitely take it toll on a lot of things, libido included. Do what you can to reduce your woman's stress...it'll help her AND you. (I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that, of course.)
Here's hoping you get a repeat performance tonight. :toast
*behind the back five*
Well, I didn't get laid, for for once it was my choice not his. Sometimes a man just has to be taught a lesson, ya know?
Thanks for the advice! Really, it's much appreciated.
I already do all that I can to help out. I take our son to daycare and back every day. I do the dishes. The laundry. The cooking. The cleaning. The vehicle maintenance. The yard work. I take our son to swimming lessons, etc. So at the end of the day we're both utterly exhausted. This time of year we only get to spend one day a week together, and that's the same day we're usually visited by the rest of our family. :ugh Then it's back to work to do it all over again.
As far as quick fixes, I think I've already done all I can do.
A lesson? Ummm, we need more details! What'd he do now?
Wow, dude...you sound like a great fellow, and you obviously don't need any advice from me! Just be patient with her and help her through it, I guess. Sometimes a little rain reminds you how much you appreciate the sunshine, ya know?
My god, BD, you have to be the most optimistic guy I've ever conversed with. :tup
Thanks, Heely. *Nuther high five* Well, I've gotten laid 3 of the last 4 nights (which includes Fodder's Day, where I was tied-up and blindfolded while my sex-goddess wife kept switching personas between herself and this hot little waitress that she knows I could just eat the panties off of ), so that'll do great things for attitude. Oh, I should add, this is after she kept my wine glass filled all afternoon, made dinner for me, and let me "catch" her rubbing one out on the phone with her cyber-BF (I think she might have set it up on purpose so I'd "bust" her ...she knows I get a rise out of it, that little seductress. :dgrin)
I think I've figured out that even in difficult times, there's something to be learned from it...even if it's nothing more than how much we should appreciate the easy times, and how much we should try to lift up the people we love when they need it. I just try to find at least something good in everything (although, admittedly, sometimes you have to look pretty hard!).
