What are you guys having? Are you having a traditional feast or thinking outside the box? My coworker is having Cuban and we are discussing what we are going to have. We have a huge turkey breast in the freezer but I'm burnt out on turkey.

Please share what you guys will be having:)

My wife and I will host friends and family for Christmas Eve Dinner. She has Italian ancestors and I have polish. We do a seafood dinner in a nod to our Roman Catholsism, although we don't really do the traditional dishes. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feast_of_the_Seven_Fishes)

Shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque as starters followed by baked clams, linguine and clam sauce, scallops, stuffed fillets (of whatever white fish is on sale) and salmon cakes.

We will snack on leftovers when we get home from midnight mass.

Christmas morning my sons and I will make a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage.

Christmas day, my wife's sister will do Italian. Pasta, meatballs sausage braciole etc.

The day after Christmas is dinner with my family and my sister in law usually heats up a honey baked ham.

Each dinner will end with mountains of Christmas cookies (we bake 7 or eight different kinds)

I'm gaining pounds just thinking about it.

After that, I will start my new years resolution to get back in shape.

I'm Pagan so I celebrate Yule instead of Christmas. Yule starts at sundown on Monday, and as I'm spoiled (heehee!) I'm getting homemade pizza on Monday night. Yay!! :) xx

I'm so sorry to hear that hon. Some of my friends host a "dumb supper" at Samhain (31st October) to remember our dearly departed. I'll add your family member to the list of remembrances for the next one I go to if that's okay. xx
